  1. We usually come in a day early, stay the night in Orlando, and do a one way car rental from the Orlando airport to Port Canaveral. The rental car agency we use has a shuttle from their location which will take you to the ship. This way you do not need to pay to park the rental car. Then on the way back to the Orlando airport, we either rent another car one way (the rental car agency has a shuttle which picks you up from the ship) or take one of the shuttle services mentioned above. It really just depends on what time our return flight home is, and how much time we have to wait at the rental agency for the car and to spend in Orlando.

    Cheers!

  2. Just off of the Jewel and GS 1050 - we only heard noise one night while the late night pool party was happening. There was a notice in our cabin that day to advise us and offer an advanced apology for the noise. We never heard a rolling cart, moving deck chair or any other noise in that suite - you did have a great view of the Concierge lounge window from one corner of the balcony though :).

  3. Just off of the Jewel, 1050 had a flat screen TV. Also stayed at the Marriott San Juan for 1 night pre cruise, we checked in at 2:30, and was assigned a room at 3:20, although they did not guarantee a room until 4pm. We got a surprise upgrade at the Marriott because our room wasn't ready - to a very nice suite on the top floor. It is a great property and close to some great restaurants.

  4. We ate at the sea view yesterday, service was fine and the only seafood on the menu was the grouper salad and the fish and chips. Not many people were eating there during the cruise due to limited operating hours imo. Service was limited to the afternoon and late evening on port days (not open for lunch) and I did not see many people there during the sea day yesterday - which had longer hours.

  5. Danielle -

This answer has been beat to death. If you do a search you will see some recommendations - some say you can, some say you can not. Depends upon if the stars line up in your favor the night before I suppose.

    (personally would not do it)

  6. I used the service yesterday. It was $5 per bag and you must pick the bag(s) up before 6pm. The service is still located at the end of the air conditioned terminal and there are signs posted to get you there.

Also, yesterday -all passengers needed to be off of the ship by 9am.
