We were in blue chairs and they weren't free. Only ones free way way in the back were the green umbrellas. We have been here four times before and all chairs were free. Carnival still advertises the chairs are free.

We recently had a port stop at Grand Turk on Feb.1st 2019. We were on the Carnival Magic.  My husband and I got off the boat and headed to the beach area. We have been to this port four times before and loved it. Not this time. When we arrived at the beach we were met by two men who said that the chairs would cost us $30 for two of them with an umbrella. These chairs on the beach were always free and Carnival states that they are free on their Carnival page. Anyways, there where at least 6 to 8 guys hoarding people and scamming people to pay them for these chairs. They said the free ones were way in the back with green umbrella's but all the rest were two chairs for $30.Then these guys were telling other people $35 then later yelled out they are $25 for two chairs.  The people next to us told us that somebody told them before their trip that it was a scam so don't pay but we already did. The guys were yelling at the people next to us cause they refused to pay and telling them to pay or get out of the chairs. Security was called and of course they are part of the scam, too. She told them they had to pay or get up. These guys were making a good amount of  $$$ doing this. They gave you a yellow paper bracelet to wear so they knew who paid and who didn't.   About an hour of this, they disappeared. So, the chairs that they kicked people out for not paying  were taken by different people who never payed cause the guys were gone. 

I just got home from my vacation and called Carnival and made an official complaint. I told them I would not go to Grand Turk again until this scam was rectified. They said, somebody from Carnival will get in contact with me in the next three days. She did give me on board credit of $30 but they need to stop this scam.  So cruisers beware of the situation in Grand Turk!!!!  Carnival has chairs right when you get on the beach. They are suppose to be free. Note: there are other chairs way down the beach that you can rent which are owned by restaurants there. 

So to say the least, my husband and I were not pleased with Grand Turk and won't go back until this scam is addressed and stopped!!

I'm so saddened to hear about the Blackjack band. They are awesome!!!! The highlight of our first cruise on the Dream!!!!!

My husband and I get Faster to fun every time we cruise!!!!

I was on the Splendor in late January and they did not have them. The casino was full of smoke so I avoided it!!! It's to bad because I love the casino but the smoke was to much!!!

We had Faster to Fun and sailed on the Splendor in January. We were off the boat by 7 30 am.

We just got off a cruise that went to Amber Cove a couple of weeks ago!!! We did an excursion that was sightseeing tour…not very good. We did meet some people on board that did the Serenity VIP, the one your talking about…they loved it!!! It was $49.99….now it's $79 !!! They couldn't have said better things about it!! All the food and drinks and beaches and pools. I wish my husband and I did that excursion!!!!! Next time!!!!

Just off the Splendor a couple of weeks ago!! Not my favorite ship but we had a super time!!! We also picked this cruise for the ports not the older ship!!! The layout is awkward but you get use to it!!! The food was good and the crew was friendly!!! The decor looks like pink donuts everywhere but it didn't bother us!!! It's all that you make it!!! For an old ship, it was kept up and looking good!!! I don't think I would sail the Splendor again but overall it was a great cruise.

We sailed the Splendor on Jan.31 to Feb.7th 2016!!! The room service menu is the new one. On our cruise, the cruise director, Kevin was always around the ship!!! We picked the Splendor cause of the itinerary not the ship itself!!!

Our first cruise for my husband and I was on the Dream. We loved it!!!! We had an aft balcony and it was wonderful!!! The crew was extremely friendly and the layout of the ship was wonderful!!! The Blackjack band was awesome!!! We listen to them every time they played. One of our favorite ships!!!!

Just off the Splendor last sunday and they have the old menu's in the dining room but the new menu for room service.

Just got off the Splendor last sunday! My husband and I booked the cruise cause of the ports. The Splendor is my least favorite ship so far…..old and very pink!!! It has an awkward set up to get from floor to floor!!! No 2.0 upgrade, old menu so I would go with the newer Magic. I have sailed on the Dream and twice on the Glory before sailing the Splendor!!!

My husband and I did the Godfrey tour twice on two separate occasions. Very nice tour!!! We passed a Sonny's tour and the music was blasted but they sure looked like they were having fun!!!! I did hear great things about Sonny's tours too!!!

Hi, did Splendor have the old room service menu or the new one where you have to pay for some items????

Our first cruise we had an aft balcony on the dream on deck nine. I can't remember the room number but it was in the middle. The balcony is way bigger than the reg. balcony but being on deck nine there is an overhang. This makes the balcony very warm. We did not get any breezes but the view from the balcony is amazing. Also, to my husband and my surprise we didn't hear anything from the lido deck above.

So I would say it's a personnel choice to choose one of these balconies. As I stated before the view is unbelievable but it is rather warm out there and you do have the overhang. Have a great time cruising!!!!!!!:):)

If you could post the Room service menu or just tell me if the new one is in place or they still have the old room service menu!! Have a super trip!!!

My husband had an aft balcony on the Dream!! We were right below the lido where we had spectacular views but the balcony was really hot cause of the overhang of the lido deck. The balcony was bigger than the usual balcony. We really didn't spend to much time out there. We like the regular balcony better.:):)

I just bought two twelve packs of water several hours ago. The sale went through!! i just checked their website and it still has twelve bottles of water for $2.99.

I have been looking for faster to fun for my Jan. cruise out of Miami:):) daily! Slowly, carnival has been putting excursions on. Still no faster to fun. I check at least three times a day! Hoping it posts soon.

Blackjack band is awesome! Love them and loved the Dream!!!;);)
