Thank you, Scubagirl! (SP?) You're an expert, huh?
I wouldn't even think about going to Atlantis if it weren't for my 9 year old, but I'm really thinking about talking her out of it. That's just so expensive for something like that. We have a White Water 2 hours from home. I'd hate to spend our time in the Bahamas there.

Great, thank you! I hadn't been able to find a comprehensive prive list.
So, there is no ticket for water park alone? Just for the Aquaventure package?
I also on some other threads that if you book a room at the Comfort Suites, up to 4 people are allowed access. Does anyone know what all this includes, and whether Comfort Suites is really ok with you not using the room?

Hi, I'm a little confused about everything to do at Atlantis. I know there's a water park and hotel, but I keep seeing references to "The Dig" and other things...Can someone please explain their facilities and if they're worth it? Which area is the slide that goes through a shark tank? I know that the water park is $110 for adults but I could've sworn I saw somewhere that there was some other package which was less but had more limitations. We want to take our 9 year old, but honestly the prices are just insane and I'm really wondering if it's worth it. Thanks!

Lol, well we're all at least that tall. Really though? I thought it would be like the Mack Daddy of water parks, which is why I wanted to take her. The big "Mayan" slides looked cool, but mainly the one that goes through the shark tank. I wish we could just pay to do that alone.
So, you've been to the Bahamas a lot? What do you recommend that is off the beaten path? I like to see at least a little culture, nature, history. We have pretty much no interest in shopping and doing things we can do at home. Eating only if it's really an experience - either amazing food or at least genuinely local food.
