  1. I booked a guaranteed inside cabin for the August 28th sailing of the Sunrise.  I'm hoping it will still happen.  It will be me and my three children.  In all of the pictures I've seen it just shows a king bed or two beds.  I believe they would be twin beds.  My room says it can sleep 4.

In my one past cruise they had the pull down beds from the walls.  Nothing I'm reading on the Sunrise says it has that.  Does it?  Where will the four of us sleep?

    Thanks

  2. I am recently divorced, and have 50/50 custody with my ex.  I love to cruise and want to take my kids, but so far she has absolutely refused to do anything that would overlap her time, especially if it would be something fun.  She has agreed to let me take them on a cruise outside of the US (so we could go to Mexico).

SO, I have the kids every other Friday afternoon -> Friday Morning.  So I would need a cruise that departs Saturday or later but RETURNS on Thursday at the latest.  I live in Washington (already did the Alaska cruises) so flights can be long getting to Florida.

Any suggestions?  I would like to keep costs down so Carnival is usually where I go (although Royal Caribbean's deal right now is awesome).

  3. Then on the Caribou Crossing to see the dogs. ($8.50 to go through the tour, petting zoo. We didn't do a sled ride)

Can you say a little more about this? What company has a petting zoo? Do you need to make an appointment. We are driving through in August and have 3 little kids with us. This would be amazing.

  4. I live an hour north of Seattle and used to work in downtown. Whenever I have relatives come over we take them on the UNDERGROUND TOUR! It is pretty amazing.

The space needle is not that big of a deal and imho is better viewed from afar. Pikes Market is fun, but it will be packed. The Museum of Pop Culture is nearby so your kids may like that. There is so much to do. . .But don't skip the Underground Tour!

  5. I originally posted this in "First Time Cruisers" and they suggested i post here.

I am going to be on the Carnival Legend to Alaska for my first cruise and will be taking my parents along. My mother has some mobility issues, but in general can walk and take elevators fine. We are on deck 5, fairly close to the elevators.

When we get on the ship for the first time, what deck will we be on? Is if Deck 4, the main deck? Is it the same for shore excursions? We will be leaving from Seattle if that matters.

    Thanks
