I will be sailing on the Jewel on February 10th out of Sydney. I am looking for recommendations for the best excursions for me and my friends to take a pic with a koala bear. I appreciate your comments! Thank you.

I did the one that Ncl offers and it was really good. The cost was around 199 but was able to see the koala bears sleeping in the tree, kangaroos and birds in their native lands. The tour fills really fast.

So I have never had a drinks package before. Both my wife and I have it on our upcoming cruise.

 

How does it work for getting drinks. Do we both have to go to the bar with our passes or can one of us go with both passes, or, can one of us go just with their own pass but the system will show that both of us in the same cabin have the package?

The ubp will show on you room key card. You can go together to get a drink or separate. Just make sure the drink is under $15 or the difference will be charged to your onboard account and the gratuity will be added to the transaction.

Actually, the title used the word "buying" drinks.

 

One would GUESS they meant "getting" drinks. Only a guess.

 

Maybe they were asking about "buying" top shelf above the $15 level.

 

How would anyone here KNOW what they meant?

The cruise ship does not let any local food to be brought back onboard. As others have mentioned, the alcohol would br taken until the last day.

Yes, I'm sure NCL is so horrible, they really just use cheese wiz in their restaurants. :rolleyes:

I have cruised with NCL at least 7 times and have never seen cheese wiz on food. Although we usually eat in the speciality and a few complimentary restaurants. The food for us is superb.
