I received mine back on Friday. I got the FCC and cruise next at the same time. This was originally cancelled on 3/13

I cancelled my 3/22 cruise on 3/13, through CAS, and still don't have any fcc or my cruise next certificate.
-
- Thanks. I never know which line to get into. I was on the Sky, for the first time recently, and platinum boarded with those with disabilities, which surprised me
-
Do you know if platinum boards before CAS?
Thanks

We were on the Gem from 2/3-2/13 and went to Cagneys 3 times. Each night we each had two apps. The oysters are our favorite. The baked potato soup is fabulous. Their shrimp cocktail is better than most. Next is the crab cake or the pork belly. I also thought the pork was too fatty. Don't forget the bernaise with the surf and turf and top it with the mushrooms. Now for dessert.....

I'll be on it 2/3. Good thing, because I can't swim

I would book any cruise about a year out, then, before final payment, call and change it to a trip you want. You can move the deposit over
-
Unfortunately, I don't get a lunch break. I work 4 9 hour days, which gives me 1/2 a day on Fridays. It is my choice. I'll definitely try on Friday:)
-
When I saw the price had dropped to $50, as much as I want to upgrade, I didn't want to overbid. I don't get why my $90 bid wasn't taken. They would have been making money on me!
-
My upgrade bids have never been accepted. I'm leaving on 2/3 on the Gem and had bid in the upper fair category-$90 per person. When I originally bid, almost 2 months ago, the difference in cabin price was $150. The difference has dropped to $50. I lowered my bid to $70, which is still over bidding. Should I call or will they still give me a set fee of $150 pp. I can only call CAS on Friday afternoons as I work 4 1/2 days and can not call from work.

I would love to play the Bills in the divisional round over Pittsburgh!
-
I have watched the NFL on the Dawn the last two years, once in September and this past year in October. They brought out chairs and we all sat in the atrium
-
I really wanted to try the Escape, out of NY, but am going with another couple. They wanted to leave out of Boston, so, May 18 is it
-
Steph, Steve and I are already booked for May 18 again. I went this year May 26-June 2 and the weather was beautiful. He wouldn't let me go next year in June since it interferes with garden time. I hope it's warm. Would love to see you and Ben again. I do agree that we really lucked out with our October weather

I just came back and had the 3 sdp package. I booked Cagneys on all 3 nights, then used the platinum benefits for le bistro and moderno.
I just booked my dinners for my Feb cruise and booked 3 Cagneys again, with the extra for Tempanyaki. I will use the platinum for la cucina and le bistro.

I'm enjoying reading your review and reliving my cruise through you. Steve and I really enjoyed meeting you and Ben and could tell you were enjoying your time. I'll wait for the ending while I get used to being back to work. Loved his fluff shirt and wonder if he'll be the first one in Texas to know what a fluffernutter is. Time to taste one

I was platinum, for the first time, last week on my cruise. I had no clue how to get the priority disembarkation. We always do easy walk off, but the line is huge. Is there a way to get through the line?
-
I'm definitely ordering the soup and mussels this time. We'll see what happens
-
If I go to Cagneys with another couple, we have sdp, they don't, can I use the platinum certificate on them?
-
This is not a stated restriction under the SDP terms & conditions.
Which ship?
The Dawn
-
I was always allowed multiple before. This was the first time I was told I couldn't have multiple, and I'm going on the same ship next week
-
The last cruise I ate in Le Bistro with the sdp and was only allowed one appetizer. It was the first time this happened to me and Cagneys still allowed more than one. Has anyone been recently and know what the current rule is. We even had the manager come over and he said one app was it. I normally got the mushroom soup and the oysters, but didn't get the soup. I might just pay this time since I have some obc

I'm on the 2/3 10 day eastern out of NY. Haven't heard anything yet and assumed it might stay Eastern. I kept reading they might start accepting ships starting in October

NCL's fee did drop from the $200 about a year ago. They now charge $20 per day, so $140 for a 7 day cruise.
Tax Software
in Cruise Casinos
Posted
I've started my taxes 3 times and since I've won small jackpots in 3 different states, I need to do 4 state returns. Which software is best. I keep starting over. Turbo tax was $50 per state plus it was extra to add the correct form for adding in the winnings. It was almost $400 and it still didn't seem right.
