I would have a definitive plan in place getting to Eagle and getting everything set up before you do anything else. Rent yourself two palapas side by side and you and your group can go and do whatever you please.

You can buy clear plastic tags from cruise critic store. Just click more at top of page then click cruise critic store. Have used plastic tags on many cruises.

With two kids? It's about 1.5miles from the port to the start of the beach, and a good portion of that walk has no sidewalks. And the sun is hot. Unless your family is used to long walks in the heat, I wouldn't.

You could look at spending the day at Royal Palms resort. You can rent cabanas or just pay a few dollars to use their facilities and private section of the beach. Check out their website.

I purchased a 4 night speciality restaurant package for my Reflection sailing January 2018 (BTW - from the old website because the new website is useless).

 

When can I make my reservations for specific restaurants??

 

When I purchased the package it only asked me if I wanted to reserve the first night or second night for a chosen time.

 

I have certain nights I want to do certain restaurants based on our itinerary.

 

Is it too soon to reserve or do I need to call Celebrity to make sure I get my choices?

I booked the dining package on our last cruise. As soon as I got on board I went to one of the restaurants and booked the rest of my dinners. I didn't have any problems getting my preferred dates and times. Sometimes they have people from the restaurants in the main atrium making reservations as well.
