  1. Just sailed on the Equinox and had a great experience eating gluten free. Each evening my waiter would go over the next night's menu with me and make recommendations. (We were in Blu) They were extremely accommodating. We had dinner in Tuscan one evening and they were also very helpful. The bread they serve is actually the same bread that I use at home so that was also a plus. Each day in the buffet there were also gluten free desserts. Some of them were amazing. I did not have any problems with food what so ever.

    Have a great day-

  2. Please forgive me if already asked. I did a search and didn't come up with much. We are 65 days out from sailing on the Equinox and we were thinking about the 4 night dining package at $125 per person. We have a significant amount of OBC and were wondering if they offer the same package, at the same rate, on board?

    Any help much appreciated.

  3. Like so many have said- I love those first steps onto the ship!

Sail Away party with a drink of the day signifies the start of a great vacation, also a favorite. Waking up in the morning and stepping out onto my balcony and seeing nothing but the beautiful ocean and the horizon is a good moment too.

We all have such hectic lives and just getting on the ship and separating from everyday life means so much- too many favorites!

    Great post!

  4. Agree with previous posts. I cruise both lines, for different reasons. This summer I am taking my 19 year old on the Breeze and I know we will have a "fun" time. In the late fall, my husband and I are going on the Eclipse for a "relaxing" time.

I think the food on Celebrity wins, but that's not to say I don't enjoy what Carnival offers. Love getting the late night pizza and the warm chocolate melting cake at dinner. When we are Celebrity its Crème Brulee and French Onion soup.

The ships themselves are very different but each line offers a good product and in the end it's all about good times with family and friends, sailing from port to port and getting away from cell phones and computer!

    Have fun!

  5. Stumbled upon this thread and am thankful I did. We are cruising on the Dream the first week in August and I can not wait. I am like a kid counting down to Christmas.

Have cruised several times but always enjoy the planning!

    Thanks for the thread!
