Just because you received a receipt, doesn't mean Celebrity has actually created the fcc yet. Group bookings are taking longer because they have to be manually done. I'm waiting on 9 fcc's right now..done the same time as your's. Once they are created the original booking agent can see them in Celebrity's system. You will eventually get an FCC sent to you from Celebrity. The number appearing on it is what you'll give the next person with whom you book.

Emails have been sent to passengers.
Err... Soton.. I'm dead tired. I know better.

With more sailings worldwide cancelled today.... I think it's going to be longer than 3 weeks. The new cancellation forms make it easier for ta's to report cancellations to Celebrity, but those poor folks at the cruiseline now need to go through all the forms and actually cancel out the bookings.
And the pile keeps getting higher.. and higher.. and higher.

Here's the deal with Chile.
1. Silverseas Silver Explorer in quarantine. British passenger tested positive.
2. Azamara Pursuit refused arrival by Chile due to "suspected" virus cases onboard.

For anyone on the 4/11 Equinox cruise.. trying logging into your reservation on Celebrity's website and see what it says.
There's no inventory showing at the cruiseline right now for that date.

Ah.... those were the days. Yes, the Celebrity Dressing - loved it!!
Respose en paix, Michel.

In a way.. I hope the cruiselines just cancel Europe.. and make other plans. What plans I don't know.... but it seems to me it would make life easier for all concerned. That way everyone could just make alternate vacation plans closer to home.

There was major panic for travel after the 9-11 attacks. I wonder what the occupancy rate was back then in the following months? It was a very different time and cruise industry in 2001 but I wonder if sailings got cancelled due to low occupancy? Does anybody recall?
My first sailing was Nov 1st or 3.. .can't remember. But the SW flights were full... and so was the ship.

It changed late this afternoon.

They sail.... Once upon a time.....back April 2001.... Summit came out of the maintenance dock early... as in only about a week to sell a brand new 7 night sailing. They sold as much as they could.. and we sailed.

Just received final payment reminder from Celebrity for my family sailing June 12th on Constellation. No change in final payment date.

Who's the insurance with? Celebrity or third party?

The thalassotherapy pools they had on Century, Galaxy and Mercury! Those were fabulous. Nothing like them since anywhere.

I tried again to push back my final payment date to 60 days out (instead of due in six days from now for our June 13 cruise out of Rome). I was told that it was only applicable for sailings in May thru June 6th. I was also told that I would need to go through my TA, and that they possibly wouldn't honor it even if Celebrity did extend the dates.
The decision for sailings through June 6th was made yesterday afternoon before the CDC update around 6pm eastern. I suspect we'll see changes in the coming days. What burned me was that finals were already paid for most of the May sailings!

What I've been seeing with the lower rates is that they are not combinable with Celebrity Perks. They are resident and senior fare codes. So you'll need to do the math and decide which is better for your own particular situation.

Some accounts have been returning blocks of space.

Depends on the rate code. If it is a fairly close-in sailing... the actual rate code could be Exciting Deals which is the lowest rate, but comes with no perks.

No, I didn't take any pictures. My cabin was 8225.....the connecting door was on the left in the shared wall.
-
The cabins each have a door in the shared wall.... like the old days of Celebrity... and like hotel rooms. I was in 8225 - a connecting cabin.

We have a Cunard Building in Boston. 126 State Street.
As a Yank, I'm really looking forward to sailing out of Liverpool. It's my plan to stay 3-4 days prior to sailing.
It'll be the 160th anniversary of my Bolton family members immigrating to America.
I wonder how quickly passengers can be processed for boarding in Liverpool... assuming of course that the computers don't go down for their all too often 1pm siesta?

Thanks for the links, Bluemarble.
In looking at the QM2 deck plans, I noticed that these plans are in effect from 10 May 2015 (M505) - 3 January 2016 (M602). I wonder if that means we can expect another set of new deck plans for 4 January 2016?
There must be some benefit to changing deck plans so often, but I have no idea what that might be!
It's simple. Two words: MORE REVENUE!!

Cinta - have you double checked that you still have the booking as I have just spoken to a friend of mine who also booked last night through a TA, but she had hers cancelled this morning (and was told that all bookings had been cancelled) and she has had to rebook via Cunard direct.
Hope this hasn't happened to you, but it may be worth checking
Talk about heart attack city. Revenue cancelled all bookings made before 1pm Southampton time. AND they FORGOT that the US set their clocks ahead one hour this past weekend!!!!!!!! So Revenue cancelled US bookings made by agents and direct bookings via phone as well not realizing the time change.
So we were all quite busy this side of the pond rebooking!

OP
What prompted you to use this particular agency in the first place?

Sat through a webinar this am with our Cel rep.
Yes, one Cat upgrade up to Aqua. I wanted further clarification.. especially with the different balcony categories. You've never been able to jump from an inside to oceanview on the one category upgrade. So my thinking was Cat 2 type of balcony to Cat 2 type of balcony, Cat 1 type to Cat 1 type, CC type to CC type and then A2 to A1.
However, since it was pre-recorded I couldn't ask any questions.
I'm just happy to have the upgrade back.
No more Future Cruise Deposit ☹️
