  1. Concerned regarding the jut out cabins and the Magic Carpet. When the carpet is moving, does it come right up next to your cabin balcony or is it an area where there is a walking path and common area. Sorry, I am not doing well with the diagrams I am finding.

The Sky Suites are in this area and I am surprised that paying this price we will be dealing with the Magic carpet. Anyone have information? Thank you.

  2. Thank you. Have you been on the Princess Regal? I'm still unsure.

We have sailed on the Regal 3 times and 1 cruise each on the Coral, Caribbean and Emerald. On Celebrity we have sailed 3 times and different ship each time. We prefer Princess over Celebrity due to the staff. I have food allergies and Princess is very thorough with the staff coming over each night and telling me about the food being offered the next day so I can make a decision. The MDR staff also tells the specialty restaurants about the allergies. Celebrity has never even mentioned it to me, as my husband goes in the MDR and speaks to the staff. Christmas of 2018 we are going on Celebrity Reflection due to the itinerary. How many times can you go to St Thomas and St. Maarten and the Reflection is sailing to Antigua so a new port for us.

  3. Hello,

We are close to booking the same Feb. cruise. The main concern is the Pacific Ocean. I have a tendency to get very seasick and not sure if this is a cruise for us.

Is it a fact the Pacific could and is a rough water?

Seems minor to some but not to those that have experienced IV treatment on a cruise ship.

    Thank you

  4. We used the above tour in Aruba. Superb!!! Never have we had this great of a tour experience. We booked through the site mentioned above. If all tours were like his, travel excursions would be heaven. We did see many local tour outside the gate which was not a long walk, others did use them and returned with good experiences.

  5. the higher you go the more you pay for peoplee who get motion siick its as low as you caan go and as mid ship as possiiiblee hhave him try sea bands wear them on his wrrists and no side effects

Take ginger either crystallized or just the cubes. Eat one when he wakes up and at bedtime or when needed. The ginger saved me on the Pacific. Also, the ship will provide you with green apples which also helps.

  6. On Saturday there are 19,070 passengers arriving for cruises.

Is there enough parking at the port or is it highly suggested to us one of the off-site lots. Thank you,

As I recall from my last cruise aboard the Epic, I parked in the C lot at the port, and when I returned I had to pay at the kiosk on the first floor. Scan the stub and my credit card. Maybe I'm confused, but I don't remember seeing a real human being....did I miss something?
  7. Being our first cruise we thought the Southward was a huge ship. Our ignorance was evident when waking up in Saint Thomas Soverign of the Seas was Docked behind us. I thought we were the Tender.

We sailed out of Miami on a 7 day caribbean trip. Missed Ocho Rios due to high seas. We stood on the deck and just watched the shoreline. For 8 hours the ship took on fresh water. The line did a nice job of keeping the passengers happy with bonus prizes and free amenities.
