I booked my first ever cruise (princess to alaska) myself, and it was easy and fun. For Antarctica, should I go through an 'expedition' focused travel agent? I am not asking for recommendations, just want to know other's preferences. If Yes, why/with examples, also if No, please give examples.

I have been having lots of fun looking at options. I realized that cruises are about scenery for me. If I want to see a country/culture I would want to vacation there so I can spend 2-3 days in a location.

For my very first cruise I went to Alaska, and realized since I live in a warm climate (California) I would prefer to cruise to cooler climates. How do I choose a new destination to focus on? Should I try other cruise lines to see if there is one I might like more than the one I just went on (princess)? Should I try to figure out where I want to go then figure out what companies actually do that cruise, or pick a company and then see what is available?
I had an idea of what I wanted of my first cruise, and enjoyed every minute of it. I want to go cruising again, but have no ideas of where or when to go and want input from others.

I am thinking of doing the Astronomy Cruise around Norway October 29 2019, and wondered what time embarkation was. I would be flying from LAX, and wanted to know what time I should try to get to Bergen. Is this like most cruises where it is better if you get there the day before? What time is Disembarkation also for flight times?
