Just been advised that all excursions have been cancelled and refunds posted to our accounts. Bummer

Looks like the small gang plank was pulled back onto the ship, I wonder if we are going to move to another dock. The Seven Seas Mariner has just left her berth, will advise.
We have just been told we are moving

Oops obviously the title should read DOCK.
Just had an update, the coastguard is now on the bridge.

Hi all,
We are aboard the infinity, whilst docking in Ketchikan in very windy conditions the ship has damaged the dock stucture. We have been advised to stay put, no one is allowed off the ship yet. It appears some of the dock structure has fallen into the bay.
Will continue to update with pics soon

Captain is addressing us. The yatch has nobody on board. The captain has told us that this yatch has been identified as a participant of last years solo transatlantic race and it appears she was abandoned.
The captain and reported to the Coast Guard and a large cheer and applause heard as he thanked us for our patience.
Great job to the Captain and his crew aboard the Caribbean Princess.

The tender is on the way back to the ship. One crew member boarded the yatch returned to the tender.
Nothing from the bridge yet, as expected. Will advise when the captain addresses the ship.

We are now alongside. The ships tender has been dispatched and they are now alongside the sailing boat.
Appears to be abandoned with no mast and sails hanging over the sides and in the water.
It has a blue hull with a white top, with a large number of 682 on the sides.

We are on the caribbean Princess and are just turning around investigating a racing yatch adrift. It appears to be missing a mast, ship now almost alongside, I will post picture when able and keep you updated.

Have you had a birthday since, have you just turned 55?

Summit Repo this past May (San Juan - NYC)
2 pax, 392 and we hate coffee and H2O.
I think my butt print can still be found at the Martini Bar.....

Thanks for the update Luc.
I am interested to know if the wine selections change to include Aussie brands?

Fabulous pics Luc.
Oh man what I would give for a cold VB, sitting here in frigid Indiana. That would have to rate as one of the best sail away vista's of all time. The bridge, the Opera House and of course the beautiful harbor.
Keep the posts coming.

Bravo, great news on your luggage.
Hope you are both enjoying Sydney, looking forward to a pic of the Century with the iconic harbor bridge and Opera House.
Bon Voyage

So I am thinking a VB t-shirt with cutoff sleeves! Don't think you can go to the main restaurant imitating Paul Hogan alias Crocodile Dundee.
Seriously I hope your baggage arrives.
Hi to Johanne from Tracy.

Welcome to Oz Mate (Luc) and Sheila (Johanne),
Followed your flight progress on Flight Tracker, I remember talking with you before our Thanksgiving meal yesterday, you were boarding your flight in Boston.
My, my. I have eaten, slept, breakfast, gym, lunch, football on the tube and now preparing dinner. All that time you have been relaxing in that huge seat thanks to United. You both must be exhausted.
Hoping to read some exiting tales from your trip.

Hello Luc and Johanne,
By now I am hoping that your flight left on time from Presque Ise and you are settled into the lounge in Boston?
Wait, just see you have landed via Flight Tracker. Face time me when you get a chance, hope your connection is on time. This going to be an epic trip for you both today.

Hi Luc and Johanne,
Hope the packing is close to done? I know you will be finishing up work, heading for home and transiting for the drive to Presque Ise. I see some weather heading your way, so please travel safe and we all look forward to hearing updates as you head to the promised land (Oz).

Luc and Johanne,
All the best for a fabulous adventure back to my homeland. Wishing you both safe travels. Remember, although the flight to Oz is daunting, you have the wonderful cruise ahead of you.
Make sure to sample Harry's Cafe de Wheels, a VB or two and of course the Barramundi.
Wishing we were traveling with you both.
Bon Voyage:D
