Locker Barcelona, whichmis just off of Placa Cataluna has very large locker rentals which take 2 large suitcases for €10. we have used these before. its also very handy for catching the aerobus to the airport.

can anyone tell me which of the restaurants are included in the BOGO offer
are the same redtaurants always included in the deal or does it depend on the ship.
-
can anyone tell me at the speciality dining options if each person can order more than 1 choice in each course.

ive read that the MDR menu on the Harmony is different to that on the other ships.
if so, can anyone provide a link to the menu.
thank you :)

Can you tell me when we arrive at the post are we able to drop our luggage off and head back into town. We arrive at 11am and wanted to get rid of the luggage and go back into town for lunch and to pick up some drinks for the cruise.
Is this possible,if so where do we drop the bags off. Would these then be delivered straight to our cabin or would we need to pick these back up again before check on.

Thanks everyone, the information was great

Just a few questions that someone can hopefully answer for me please.
- How often the menu changes at these restaurants. Do they change daily.
- Are the menus available to view before your reservation time, i've seen the sample menus but would like to know in advance whats on the menu for the days we have booked
- If i book the restaurants now am i able to cancel these before we sail without charge. How close to the day can i cancel.
sorry for all the questions would would like to get an idea before i go ahead and book.
thanks in advance

this is the first time that i we have sailed with P&O.
On other cruise companies you can choose more than one starter, main or dessert. is this the same on P&O.
does this also apply in the speciality restaurants or is this strictly 1 meal per person
-
I was just looking at the different eating options on board and came scross a new room service menu. It looks like in the past few days that P&O have changed the menu, alot more items on however all with charges ranging £1.50 upwards. This wasnt on the site last week when i booked and i havent seen any mention of it anywhere prior. The Q&A pages says the menu has been updated now more choice and some with charge but everything looks like it has a charge other than breakfast

I'm assuming you can take luggage on the portbus ?
-
Does anyone know what time the port bus starts.
I was thinking of using this when we disembark. Plan to leave ship around 8am
-
i understand that you can get a public bus outside of the port into Marseille for a few euros. there may also be a free shuttle into town run by the port, i seem to think i ready this a couple of weeks ago.
I personally would not be paying the cruise company for their shuttles as the prices are always extortionate i always look for alternatives.

thanks for the replies, much appreciated

Just seen a video of what looks like the free ice dream available on the ship. looks great, better than i thought. I was thinking it was a soft swirl ice cream machine.
Is this available at various locations across the ship or just at one. do the flavours change from day to day. Am i right in thinking this is 24hr !
It seems pretty good with the toppings bar and sauces that are available. Will definately have to try these (Great for making your own iced coffee or milkshake) and compare them to the ice creams you can get at Cherry on the top where you have to pay for it.
Any info on flavours available at Cherry on the top?

Can anyone tell me what types of activities are available for kids ages 10, 13 & 17 on the Vista? Hubby and I have cruised several times but never with the boys. Are there teen activities or older child activities? Also - I know on the older ships there is no cost for the water slides - is there on this ship? How about for putt-putt? That funny air-bike thing, etc?

I'm assuming the slides, sky ride and other activities are free. i thinkmthere is a sports area near the mini golf which will have other stuff for them also.
I know that there is a cost for the imax.
I think there will be plenty for kids to do.

We regularly use the compny for airport transfers. Only dlightly more than using the airport bus and much cheaper than a taxi. We paid £15 for 2 people direct to the hotel and the airport bus was £14 plus you would have to walk from the main square in Barcelona to your hotel
Currently a 25% discount on too.

there was damage to some of the structure due to wind. with there initially being no panels on the frame was quitr flimsy. i sat in the solarium watching the guys secure the framework and build it panel by panel. it looks beautiful.
there are still lots if bits to be completed on the ship. some central park cabins not finished. we were booked in 10629 but were moved. didnt know till we arrived at check in, some safety issues with balcony.
lovely ship though. pools great. solarium pool ok. more like a big jacuzzi though. shows - some teething issues, to be expected but still good.
ship was not full, so easier for new staff learning the ropes and good for passengers as plenty of chairs around pools and in restaurants.
