  1. Cruisegus….you are absolutely correct! I have asked our stateroom guy that question before. He said they are given a list of passengers that get their gratuities back. Also, yes Speciality restaurants add an 18% gratuity when you purchase a dinner. What you need to know is that the 18% is divided up between every worker that works in that Speciality restaurant. I have asked this question to confirm on two different cruise ships. The extra you tip for your good service… that server gets to keep all to himself.

  2. We put 2 6-packs of 16 oz. bottles of Pepsi in a hard side carryon and checked it at the curb with our other suitcases. Arrived at our cabin door with all bottles intact. But we live close and drive to the port...no flights involved, so it’s easy for us to bring an extra carryon.

We have been on 9 cruises out of Fort Lauderdale. I have always given the Porter’s a case of water and sometimes a case of Pepsi too. Just tape several luggage tags on them and give the Porter’s a good tip. I just did this recently this year in March & May on cruises. The cases have always made it to the cabin. Now I did pay for a case of water on the ship one time too. I prefer to bring it!

  3. Good to hear they still allow the pack and play in a two person stateroom.

Myself, my daughter and granddaughter (28) months went on the Harmony of the Seas in March of this year. We booked a Boardwalk cabin that sleeps 2. Royal Caribbean allowed that and brought a PAC n Play to our room for my granddaughter but we sent it back because we didn’t need it. My travel agent did have to call Royal Caribbean to get this approved.

  4. Gambee....I've read all of your reviews....great job and loved loved LOVED all of your pictures. I feel as though I know you and your mom. You are a very sweet guy that loves his mom so much! She is very lucky to have a son like you. I'm looking forward to your next cruise. My husband and I leave on the Allure May 19th...just a few weeks from now.

    God Bless,

    Druann
