Thanks for the update on your cruise and Covid cases. How are they handling them? Are they testing crew daily? When is the Indian dinner and when were you able to sign up. Beautiful photos.

Thank you so much for your daily reports. We are on the Jan. 24th cruise and one day we are planning to go and the next day not. Have had this cruise for 2 years, all ship excursions--5 of them
and specialty restaurants are booked, have on board credit and really want to go. Will be interested to see if all ports will be open on your cruise. It is such a difficult decision.
One question. We have proof of vaccination on our phones. Do we need to bring original vax card?
Thanks. Enjoy your cruise.

What experience has anyone had with checking the box on your Cruise reservation for a complimentary upgrade when you have a cabin already assigned.
It states that if you receive and upgrade it might not have certain features, have an obstructed view, or be in a less-desirable location than you might prefer.
Seems strange as an upgrade should be a better cabin.
Travel agent says if you check that option and they offer an "upgrade" you must accept what they offer.

Is that on the AAA or Costco Website? Thanks

Thank you. Would you know if so called formal nights are typically on sea days?

Thank you. I did mean air credit but thanks for the explanation. I too have booked my own flights before but that was before they offered O Life and I thought I read somewhere that you had to use their air but hope that is not the case. Since final payment is due 6 months in advance trying to get all the information I can. Do not need to go in early as have already been to Bangkok and we are going on the Taj extention so do not need to stay any extra days. Hopefully will not have to pay additional fees for flights we want but probably will have to to get what we want.

Thank you. I also did research and agree Cathay Pacific is the best but thought I read that if you do not use Oceania air you would not get the OLife Choice option. We selected the 4 free shore excursions which are worth quite a bit. Will see if can get air deviation credit and keep OLife. Choice.

Does anyone know what airlines Oceania uses from Los Angeles to Bangkok and Mumbai to Los Angeles?
Thank you

Thanks for the info or lack of by Oceania. What do you notice now that is being done to sanitize the ship? Do they need to wait until Miami to thoroughly clean it? So sorry you are missing out on so much. We are flying in on red eye Tuesday to supposedly board Dec. 2. How many are ill now? What about those sick continuing on? Hope you stay well. Would appreciate any updates.

Purchased great deal on Groupon. Trolley plus free harbor cruise from Long Wharf for 2 for $35. Not bad.

We are considering taking the City Trolley Tour in Boston which includes a free Harbor Cruise leaving from Long Wharf. We will be on a cruise arriving at Boston Black Falcon Cruise Terminal. What would be the best way to connect with the City Trolley Tour? Anyone familiar with this one? I know the Old Town Trolley picks up near port but not sure if any of the 9 stops on City Trolley is near the cruise ship terminal.

We are taking a red eye from LA to Miami in order to arrive on time. We will get into Miami early AM. What is the earliest you have ever been able to board the Regatta? We do not expect the cabin to be ready, we would just like to board since we do not want to sit around the airport or the port. We have a balcony cabin. Any suggestions?
How often does Oceania Test Crew Members
in Oceania Cruises
Posted
Just wondering how often Oceania Tests Crew Members. Do they test after each cruise to make sure there are no Covid cases before new passengers get on?
We are getting on next Tuesday and know cases seem to show up even through passengers are tested 48 hours prior but of course much can happen in those 48 hours. If crew go off ship are they tested again--most of the time can take 3 days for symptoms to show up. Cannot believe we are actually willing to go on a cruise but if not now when??? Cancelled many so far.
