  1. The kids club is available from three plus as long as they are fully potty trained .

My son loved it at three .

No swim nappies at all allowed,

Kids club open till ten for free , we didn't tend to leave them that late at three , but you still get done ' you ' time .

Either feed little one in the buffet in the evening and drop him to the club at seven . Then you can go dine together ,

We do that still if we gave a speciality restaurant booked .

  2. Thank you for all for all your speedy replies.

We have booked 2 excursions whilst in Russia, but thought we'd explore independently at the other ports. I have to say that I was disappointed to hear from Celebrity that if I'd booked a family room the children would of got a drinks package included, though because we booked 2 rooms they don't...especially as we were paying considerably more! I have emailed them and waiting for a response to see if they would reconsider given we are a family. If the children aren't with us can they access free drinks independently?

Celebrity don't allow parties of four to book a family room . Which is very very annoying . We have requested it a few times , and they say no as we are only four .

They probably won't change their minds as they no doubt get asked this a lot .

As stated there are free drinks in the cafe and mast grill etc

If you have their permissions set on their Sea pass card they can charge soft drinks to it if they gave it on them .

( i think you can do that ) I'm sure someone else will confirm or deny .

We are on the same cruise as you , safe trip to port , and I'll keep my eye open for thirsty teens [emoji6]

  3. This cruise is getting close! I think I have everything pre-ordered, booked and notes taken for the ports, currency, etc. still have some tickets to order for our pre-cruise in London and some dinner reservations to make. Next up-- packing, or at least decisions to be made on what to take and what to eliminate.

Excited to hear that there is a beach in Frederica! Sounds like a good day to just walk around and absorb the Danish way of life.

  4. In the big cities in the UK, you mean! I live in the wilds of North Norfolk, and I can just imagine the reaction if I asked for a Porn Star Martini! Or anything beyond a G&T, really. :D

Ha ha! I moved to deepest darkest Hampshire last year from London , and I haven't dared to ask for one down here either ! Hence why I was hoping to imbibe on my hols!!!

  5. Thanks for the very funny comments , strangely they're very very common in the UK , and I'd recommend u try one .

It's a passion fruit based martini made with vodka and champagne and is perfect if you don't like a sweet drink .

Stupid bloody name but hey ho who cares , when it tastes the way it does !!!!

  8. I think Luminare has quite a ring to it ..... [emoji6]

You can call it what you like , we know what you are referring to. Ignore the 'nit pickers' .

Oh and thank you . We sail in august and were wondering if it was open for lunch on embarkation as ocean view is always rammed .

    Have a great cruise xx

  9. We don't usually have lanyards tbh.. but this year our 11 year old is allowed to hang on to her own card for the first time . She's getting a purple bling lanyard before we sail as that in her words ' will look cool '

Each child , is obviously different [emoji23]

  10. You tick the box to let your credit card do the conversion and hopefully you have one that charges nothing for doing it. I have a Post Office one, but Martin Lewis recommends Halifax Clarity.

We also took Martin Lewis recommendation and have a Halifax clarity card

Best thing we ever did . Great conversion , no fees

  11. I have heard they are pretty strict on the ages, but I'm sure it depends on the staff on board.

One thing to be aware of is that ensigns age 9 plus are allowed to sign themselves out . ( trust me they go to the cafe and that's about it !)

So you may find that your eight year old later in the evening will be alone in that area as everyone else will be chugging soda and eating ice cream in the cafe.

I know this as last year we originally didn't allow my ten year old to sign herself out , until we discovered her alone one eve looking very sad .

We changed the permissions giving her strict instructions that it was the Oceanview or nothing . She's a good girl and didn't abuse that .
