  2. Hi we have done this excursion, we ended up having about 4 hours in the park, next time we had a car/limo service and had so much more time in the park, we didn’t have to wait to get off the ship as with our excursion was a huge issue, we didn’t leave until about 2:30 getting to the park at about 3:30 then leaving the park I think it was about 7:30, it may be worth your while to look into a limo service, and they will have the best day!!!

    Greetings

If you are referring to the new Margaritaville Resort it is a easy walk from the piers.  You leave the port area, turn right and proceed towards Senor Frogs.  Then you turn left at Senor Frogs where after a short distance the road will bend to the right and you will be merged onto Bay Street.  You will see the new resort on the right after a short walk on Bay Street.  There are multiple buildings and a large pool complex.  We walked around the resort without a problem in January but mask were required then.  It was a safe walk but you do have to deal with the "hawkers" selling their wares or trying to sell you tours.

    Good Sailing

Hi! Did you need to show a negative Covid test?

    Thanks!

  4. Hi, we went to Junkanoo Beach once, it was OK rented chairs and got drinks for the day and it was cheap!  My kids had a lot of fun, it was a good day drink for them lol, so if you are traveling  with teenagers great place to go, if it’s just me and my husband I would probably go to a different beach

We are on Edge August 7-14 cruise and one of the excursions in Nassau is VIP Cabanas at Pearl Island, first of all are they worth the price, they seem to not have much privacy as they are all adjacent to each other. Secondly, does anyone know if the price is per person or for both, they quote $349 and says Cabana has a capacity for 2. Has anyone been to one? I remember how incredible the Cabanas were on Labadee and were worth the price, Disney also has nice Cabanas at Castaway. Any advice from people that have been to Pearl Island? Thanks

Did you get a cabana? We are considering getting one for our March cruise, I agree the cabanas at alabaster were worth the price, if you wouldn’t mind sharing your thoughts on the Pearl Island cabanas

    Thanks!

  6. Is this new, if you pick beverage and dining as your perks and there are three in a cabin they tax for three but the perks are for the first two?  Or are the perks for all three?

    Thanks for the help!

  7. Hi, on our cruise in March we were in a "Mid-Ship" Mini Suite it was actually 2 doors down from the elevators in the front of ship, we were a little nervous thinking the noise,  the amount of kids running to get to the elevator, we loved it not having to walk the corridor is AMAZING!  We are going to Bermuda in September and we are again "mid-ship" but my husband actually asked me to count how many doors we were from an elevator!

Probably had more of those cabins available.  That is still a great deal for a mini suite.  I put bids in the same range for the Haven but I'm not willing to pay anymore than that to upgrade. I am happy with my current room and it will just be icing on top of an already awesome cake if I get an acceptance tomorrow.

Good Luck, which ship and when are you sailing?

Was Comped an Inside from CAS.  Just got an accepted bid upgraded to an AFT Balcony on the Escape 3/10 from NYC.

Congratulations, we are on this cruise also but have not gotten an upgrade yet 😞, stalking it multiple times during the day but I'm not sure if it will happen, not too many Haven rooms left (which I bid on) and the lowest balcony category is at a guarantee, so I'm not sure how the algorithm works and if I even have a shot....

Yes, Book a room for the day/  Only guests of the hotel are allowed access to beach and pools

Is it worth it?  We usually go to the Atlantis for the day, we don't use the Aquapark so just the beach and the restaurants/shopping, is there much of a difference?

    Thanks for all your help!
