  1. Hi I'm wondering if someone either who has been onboard or going could tell us which shops is onboard (especially hoping for Michael Kors lol). But also if one of the shop sells sun lotion and if so is it Australian Gold? I love this brand and normally order from America but if onboard I wouldn't need too.

    Many thanks in advance.

  2. I have read a lot saying about a price drop on the cruises. If you go on to see and your cruise has dropped in price but doesnt offer you the same deals (OBC, free wine etc) As to when you booked. Do they still apply if you get price reduction and the perks?

  3. Hi, this looks like the offer, but not sure which sailings / ships it applied to.

Thanks. Yes that's the offer I got. Do u know if it shows on manage ur booking online or does it just get applied at port

  4. Sunday ~ May 4th ~ Fort Lauderdale to Port Canaveral

Up very early this morning (5AM). Grabbed some coffee in the CL. We finished up our packing. We were proud of ourselves for doing a good job yesterday......not much left to do this morning.

We had early tags and would be called off first after the walk offs....supposedly at 7 AM.

We went on down to the dining room on deck 4 around 6:45.....and sure enough' date=' we were off at 7 as promised! Disembarkation was a breeze as far as those go. Everything moved along very quickly.....good thing because we were a little anxious about getting to our car (which we hoped was still there), repacking our suitcases, and getting on the road to Port C.

Everything went very smoothly and we were on the road by 8. We stopped at a McDonald's along the way and got breakfast.

We pulled into the Park and Cruise on Merritt Island, where we had reservations, at about 11:45. Not bad!

Apparently, I was very negligent about making any pictures of this process!! I'm slipping. But we were very pleased at how everything went. We were able to get on board Freedom just a little later than we usually would have, had we spent the night in Port C.

I'll start a new thread for the Freedom cruise, so please stop by in there and say hello! (We actually went in search of the real Mud Pie there!)

As always, I will end this thread with a toast to all our cruise buddies.....live and vicarious. We so enjoy cruising with you. This was a great two weeks and we look forward to doing this again when the Indy returns to this side of the pond.

Not sure when we are cruising again except for the Jewel in Nov/Dec, so stay tuned. I'm sure we'll find something in the meantime! (Right, Al and Phyllis?)

So ........cheers! And thanks for reading!

Loved your review. Thank you. Can't wait to read your next one

  5. Hi again, happy to help - sorry I got the wrong offer, try this one. There is an archive of offers available to agents - I am not an agent just in case anyone asks. I just happen to know one.

    .

Sorry for jumping on this thread but you wouldn't happen to have a copy of the August offer were it included kids free soft drinks and wine and dine. Thanks. I'm the same nothing in confirmation

  6. Suggest you grab a screenshot of the offer asap before it vanishes.... had similar situation recently. Make sure you get in writing what you are expecting. Mine is in the TA invoice.

Unfortunately it was booked last year so can't get a screen shot. Will ask travel agent when in next time. Was more to see if my kids app,I'd for free soft drinks as there 17&13.

  7. When we booked our cruise there was an offer on of obc, wine and drink and soft drinks for kids.

Looking at my booking I see neither on my confirmation.

Do they tell you on your confirmation?

What's the age limit for the kids to receive the soft drinks offer?

Hope someone can help with my queries. Thanks

  8. Hi all,

I apologize for asking so many questions, and if the questions are too frequent! I am quickly learning that CC is addictive. Is there an AA type of group for folks who are addicted to CC?! :o Hopefully, I haven't gotten a bad rap on these boards yet! :(

    1. I am considering the beverage packages. Probably just the soda/water one for my husband and for sure the soda for me, and maybe the premium once we board and get the lay of the land. I would get my soda package credited if I upgrade once on board, right? Are all of the wines that you can get by the bottle available by the glass? If so, why would you need to get a bottle of wine? Would the wine in the premium package be available in the speciality

    2. If we do the pre-pay of gratituites (long story, but we are with a group and its required), its just for the dining staff, right? Our stateroom attendant we would pay the gratituty separately?

    3. I am having a tough time deciding on our cabin. I had my heard set on an AFT balcony (because of many of your strong recommentations!) It looks like our best options are 9676 or trying to get a 'true' aft by seeing if we can upgrade to a JS for an extra $673, and seeing if a cabin like 1406 is available. What is a side aft balcony like? Is it basically the same as any other balcony, just towards the back of the ship? Should we pay more for a true aft? If I can't get a true AFT, where should I request our cabin to be located? My DH would be perfectly happy with an ocean view, so I might be pushing my luck in upgrading to a JS! We would have to tip more for our attendant in a JS, right? Or is that for a GS or other suites? What are the other pros and cons of a JS if I can sweet talk my way into a JS?! :p

Thanks for your help and advice!

I can't really offer you p with your room as we always try for mid to back ship.

As far as drinks package. We once purchased wine package and when we got onboard they had started a trial with the alcohol package so they did let us refund wine to buy the drink one. But I would hold of just incase.

  9. Im going to ask a question I think I already know the answer to.

Our party is made up of three groups but done as a joint booking. Two groups are first time cruisers and one is emerald. Will all groups be able to go through priority boarding together at the port?
