Thanks everyone...we are thinking January or February of 2025 for our 50th wedding anniversary.  

We have cruised X before and would definitely do so again since our diamond status follows X. 

Are there any cruises by RCCL or Celebrity that visit Tortola BVI?  Or a cruise that ports close enough to get to the Baths of Tortola?

Just got off the Enchanment, Feb12-17.  I forgot to pick up a sheet about the ships current stats.  Me bad.  Anyone have current info on her?  TIA

We are a group of 4 flying into Melbourne and staying at Cocoa Beach LaQuinta. I can't decide what our best options are. We want to spend a day at Kennedy Space Center and a day at Epcot before cruising. It looks as though the options between car rental vs. shuttles are comparably priced. Am I missing something? TIA

We are cruising on the Oasis in January. We are flying into Melboure Orlanda Airport. We have our hotel booked (LaQuinta Inn and Suites Cocoa Beach Oceanfront). We will definitely visit the KSC but would love to hear any suggestions or ideas. We will be at Cocoa Beach 4 days prior to the cruise. What would be best way to get to KSC? Thanks for any suggestions or advice!

Did you ask your Travel Agent to try to get them applied? Others have reported being successful doing that. Good Luck!

Yes they tried first and told me the same thing. I thought contacting them through CA might help if I did it directly....no luck! But that's ok. Got a great price on the trip anyway! :)

I redeemed points for $350 OBC and tried to apply them. Because I am booked in a group they do not allow me to use them. Same as being a shareholder.....so so so many stipulations! Bummed but it is what it is!

I redeemed gold coins today, got the redemption code and called my TA. Will be excited if it all works! $350 OBC coming my way!

I would be interested to hear of experiences of chartering a fishing boat. We will be in St. John's Antigua in January on the Serenade of the Seas.

We have booked through our TA and then redeemed points and applied the value through the TA. Any extra and you can redeem for OBC which you can use for specialty restaurants, excursions, etc. From our recent experience, they have really streamlined the redemption process.

Think about the wonderful experience and memories you will be making with your loved ones! Nothing beats cruising IMHO! Have fun and don't sweat the small stuff.

We did order the Grand Romance Package on one of our cruises and definitely were satisfied with it. I don't see that available now. I would spend the extra to get the package. Celebrate!

While on the Caribbean Princess out of Texas a year ago, my DH contracted the virus. I never did get it. I was just extra careful and as mentioned, not everyone gets it if around it. That ship came into port early under false pretenses of fog...thought that was kind of funny!

Get of the ship and walk across the street to the Arubus bus stop...$4 round trip and they will drop you off at the hotel area...Palm Beach. Easy Peasy. Go back to bus stop to go back to pier.

....my points have been updated! I am at 126 points. Serenade is booked for next January!

How long after a cruise are your points updated? We cruised earlier this month and the points have not upgraded. Also, we rebooked while on board and this reservation is not showing up on the RC website either.

The sports bar always has the race....can't remember which RC ship it was, but they had Nascar memorabilia hanging in the sports bar area....kinda neat!

Love Nascar....only 5 weeks until Daytona! BTW...I did the Jeff Gordon driving experience at Talladega and loved it! Highly recommend it to Nascar fans!

Did Legend bridge tour last week.

There is a printer that records all the fire alarm smoke detector action. They happen two or three times a day from what I could see

I have been known to "feed" the machine much more than I should..but the best "feed" I ever did was on Radiance a few years ago.

 

My husband went to the cabin to change before we went to a show, so I waited in the casino. I put 40$ in a dollar video poker slot machine...3rd pull..royal flush ! 4000$ paid out ! Ran to the room to show my hubby and he locked it in the safe and changed the password hahaha so I couldn't get at it :D He knows me too well :)

....first drink of the cruise and then the gals check out the MDR seating. Less than 2 weeks and we will be sailing! Can't wait!

I will definitely ask the bar waiter at the MDR on our upcoming cruise! Just kind of a fun way to end the evening especially if heading to the room right after dinner!

They were known as loving cups... we have quite a colorful collection of them and fond memories. But yes, they seem to have done away with the practice.

We have several loving cups. Regret that one nite they had a very unique shot glass (like a 3 in 1) and we never got it that nite. Wish they would still offer this, too!

...the number is listed on the website. I have several hundred dollars in OBC through my Visa card and called them to verify that they had the correct documentation. For back up, I printed my emails saying I had redeemed the Visa points for OBC. I have never had a problem but as my kids tell me, I am a bit anal! ;)
