We are going on our very first cruise, Eastern Caribbean on the Allure. It leaves on the 16th(eeeek!). Anyways, I'm starting to pack, and I'm curious how much space there is in the cabins for luggage? It will be my hubby and I and our 3 daughters. I would normally pack a suitcase for each of us, but I'm wondering if I should try to squeeze into 4 suitcases instead. We will have two adjoining cabins. Any thoughts? Thanks :)

And as far enforcement goes, its almost non existant on board. Very few things will they enforce when it comes to dress. Like I said, a man wearing a tank top can expect to go change no matter what dining time it is. Shorts generally arent allowed during dinner. I doubt they would ever say anything to a child though.

Thank you for the input! While I have read the suggestions on the RCCL website, I wanted to know what is more accurate in reality. So if someone wore, for example, jeans and a t-shirt on a casual night, would that be acceptable? And what about the kids? We have three daughters and our little one(who is going to be just shy of 3 during the cruise), is very opinionated about what she wears. Do they enforce the dress code with littles as well? I can imagine her insisting on shorts :P

We are taking our first cruise on the Allure in March(Eastern Caribbean). While I know that formal night dress code seems to be a much debated topic on these forums, I'm more unsure of the other nights(expected formal wear is much easier to define I think!). When we're talking casual, how casual is ok? Like would someone be able to come to dinner in shorts and a tank top for example, or whatever they were wearing earlier that day? The smart casual confuses me a lot more lol! What exactly is accepted in this category? Thanks!
