  1. We were on the Paradise 3 weeks ago, our room was one of the new room Suite on deck 14. We enjoyed the views, the room and service we got. One warning about deck 14, there are just 2 elevators and the wait going down can be a long wait, also just 2 going back up. We got used to the stairway. As far as the colors go? I'll just guess it was the standard colors and trim, we only bathed and slept in our room, watched a few movies late night.

  2. If you’re cheap and like to drink, you’ll love this tip! I did a spring break cruise with my college age kids. In Key West, they found $1 ice cold can beers at the Auntie Ann’s pretzel shop and bought several for walking around sight seeing beers. Hard to beat that!! Enjoy Key West. What a great stop!!

The Pretzels are pretty darn good too!

  3. My upcoming cruise of 7 nights just dosen't make sence for Cheers, we are off the ship 4 days, booked excursions with drinks provided. We are usually worn out after an active day ashore. We're cruising to have a great time and looking forward to Fun Times!

  4. We did this cruise in February and are doing it again July 15th. We still don't know what we are doing in Belize or Grand Cayman this time. Cozumel we are going to Paradise Beach for the day. Roatan we are going to Little French Key again. We did that for the first time in February and fell in love with the place so we know we are going back in July, this time with the kids.

We booked the Little French Key and will have our 10 year old grandson. We are excited and was wondering after doing this twice if you could give us any tips on what not to miss. The site and reviews all sounded great along with the pictures of the animals.

We cruise in just a little over 2 weeks. Thank You!

  5. I don't really understand why folks think the cruise line has to tell every detail of what goes on. Do you demand this level of transparency with all businesses you have dealings with? Carnival has said it is required maintenance, why do you need more detail? I understand you cannot reschedule your vacation, but does knowing exactly what type of maintenance is being done, or even why the vacation is having the itinerary changed going to change whether you take the partial cruise or cancel?

I totally agree! Safety first, We all read about the nightmare of a ship breaking down at sea, no AC, the smells, etc. No one wants this on their vacation and I tip my hat to Carnival for staying tied to the dock.

I also can't remember a cruise while sitting down to dinner where we didn't feel a strange vibration coming from the screws.

I'm looking forward to our cruise in about 2 weeks, God and Carnival Cruise Lines willing :halo::halo::halo:

  6. Glad to hear about the bring on a 12 pack option. I almost purchased the soda deal then I got to thinking, we're on a 7 night cruise with 4 ports, all of which we are doing the excursions and will be off the ship. It just sounded like a waste. Great post, thanks for posting info.
