I have truly been enjoying "living" my Panama Canal cruise through you, Trainman. Great photos and commentary! As for the menus, we were on a 14-night cruise last year, and the a number of the menu items I am seeing for your cruise are new to me and different what we've had on any of our previous cruises. They may not have completely instituted the new menu, but it looks like they are phasing in some new items. Variety is always welcome, and I can always find something to eat!

Looking at doing a PC cruise in 2014, so am subscribing...so far great blog, and the picture of prime rib is making my mouth water!

Main seating...breaks up the day and you aren't stuffed at the end of the day. It gives us a little more time to burn off some of those calories in the evening, too. Rushing to get ready has never been an issue. You generally have to be back on the ship by 5:00 anyway and it takes us no more thn about 45 minutes to get dressed, even on formal nights (that's two of us taking showers, etc.)

My favorite is a strawberry colada...layered drink that is half strawberry daquiri and half pina colada...they serve them on RCI ships and in less than 2 months I'll get my quota!:p
