can anyone tell me if there is a television in the bedroom in a penthouse suite
-
Thanks for the information. We are in a suite but our first ncl cruise. We are elite on celebrity and diamond on royal but when we sail in a suite they give us the temporary premium status with all the perks...discounts and free internet time, laundry etc. When the cruise is done we get the points from the cruise added to our elite status as usual...working towards the next level.

Other lines (primarily celebrity and royal) bump you up to highest level status for the duration of your cruise if sailing in premium suites. Does anyone know if NCL does this for their passengers? This is our first time sailing Norwegian.

Great...thanks for all the info! No suits or ties in his suitcase!

We'll be sailing on Spirit in the med at the end of the summer. Can anyone tell me what sort of dress code there is for the two MDR's. I'm to understand that one is casual and the other a little more formal? Do men require jackets or ties or is it just no jeans or shorts in the evenings?

Thanks for the quick review. We sail on Spirit at the end of August....glad to hear positive feedback!:D

Thanks for the info and links!

Just wondering if you pay a room service fee when you are in a suite. Also, are tips automatically charged to your account for butlers and conceirge along with cabin stuart or do you tip them individually on your own?
-
Thanks...I've just sent an email!

Can't seem to find an answer regarding the menus for MDR.....are both restaurant menus the exact same each night or does each restaurant offer something different

Does anyone have or know of where I can see dailies from Spirit while in Europe?
-
As there are two separate main dining rooms on Spirit, would the menus be the same at each every night? Would anyone have copies or photos of menus from a recent cruise? Can't seem to find anything newer than 2015 for this ship. Also, any dailies would be interesting. Recent Med ones would be great to see.

We're new to NCL and to cruising in Europe. Can anyone tell me if they have formal nights on a 10 night cruise. Also, what currency does the casino use? US dollars?

We are sailing out of San Juan on jewel of the seas. I was curious how muster and dining times work when you sail away at 8:30pm? Anyone out there with recent experience?

I love to see a man in a tux....just as I love to wear a gown. Nowadays it's the only time we truly get to dress so formal. I personally love it!

I'm joining this cruise on short notice. Would be interested in knowing any fellow travellers? Any scuba divers coming along?

-Don't miss sunset bar for sailaway
-We found late night comedy show repeated itself more than one evening so don't fret if you miss the first one
-Coffee and teas available in retreat lounge area (I believe deck 7)in centre overlooking atrium
-molecular bar drinks are amazing but you need premium drink package...some bartenders here are very entertaining....

My husband did this dive on our cruise in March. He booked the dive himself and loved it. He said it was one of the best wreck dives he's been on....and he's done alot. They've opened up the ship so you can actually go into the body of the ship. I believe it's five decks. He used a dive shop that was within walking distance to the pier....not sure of the name but will check his log book and post later.

Definately...you can come and see the cabin. Another of the couples we're travelling with booked the sky suite on the other corner of the same deck. The other two couples (we're travelling in a group of four couples) have booked C3's on deck 9 mid ship so we'll get to see what there's is like as well. We were on deck 9 aft so those two cabins are now available I believe. 9101 and 9103 if you prefer aft.

Lisa, we took the upgrade. Jeff and I are sailing on your cruise and today I switched us from C1 to SK1. We're aft on a corner, deck 8. I can't wait. We too have usually had a suite on our previous cruises. I do like the extra space, larger balcony. I love to eat my breakfast out on the balcony in the morning in my robe....it just makes my cruise! I haven't told Jeff yet so mums the word! It's a surprise.

Is there a shelf unit beside the closet? Are there drawers in the bedroom or cupboard for clothes?
