  1. I can’t get it to stop asking for Covid test results when they are no longer required so can go no further. We are also flying home from Quebec and tried to add that but the airline list is short and no Air Canada on it.  I have deleted and added the app a couple of times now and no difference and written to customer service 12 hours ago and no answer.  Guess we’ll be in the long line at the terminal……..

  2. I registered for OnPoint last week. The charge went through but no calendar came up to schedule.  I called, tried to chat, emailed multiple times. No response. I’ve filed a dispute with my bank because the charge went through. I read where some people had an appointment but no one showed up. Someone else said “it’s the fastest negative result you’ll ever get.”  Ready in 5 minutes.  Hope you have better luck than I did

  3. Agree. And if a port is not safe I doubt they would be inviting ships to dock or the government would even let them if the situation is bad just for some tourist dollars.

I have been looking forward to visiting this area for a long time and this cruise came along at the right time. It’s not unusual for someone to wonder about changes to the itinerary.

This is what she wrote to me so I don’t know what the story is. I do like a sure thing and like you would prefer to go somewhere where things are all functioning. We shall see and looking forward to your next post.  I see dress is smart casual whole trip so just put away the dressier outfit and my husband’s blazer (maybe the Spanx stay home too!😁)

  5. We are due to leave Sunday for a 6 day cruise to the recently hurricane damaged Canadian Atlantic. After seeing the news, I assume that at least 2 of our scheduled ports definitely are closed which would then leave only 2 others (think Halifax could possibly open within a week but may not allow ships). We have insurance so that doesn’t matter but were looking forward to vacation. For those of you who have had their cruise affected by weather events, what happens now?

  6. I just spent the last hour on hold with this company-opens at 8. I tried the various selections and finally discovered that the only one that takes a message is the group selection (more money and people gets some attention I guess) so I left them a message with my pertinent information and asked them to cancel my account and I will test at CVS.

  7. I created an account and bought 2 virtual tests yesterday. My card was charged but calendar was unavailable for me to schedule a test. I’ve tried to get through to them through chat, email and phone call-twice on each-with no response. Has anyone else had a problem or have a more direct number to reach them?  We are sailing next week!

  8. I’ve been following a particular cruise for about a month now and notice that whenever a promotion is offered the price goes up. For example, the price for the cruise yesterday (same cabin and have it all) was $3958. Today the cruise appreciation of $100 promo is back and the price today is $4238.  Up almost $300 for the exact same cabin so you are paying for the promo and more!

  9. Made an appointment at CVS for 2 days before cruise. Pulled into drive up window at the time scheduled and we were handed test kits. Instructed step by step on obtaining specimen and packaging it. Dropped in bin. 30 hours later results were text to us. Also received email from my state health department with results. Paid nothing as insurance covered it. Wanted to add that we had PCR tests as there weren’t any rapid test appointments available on the day we wanted to schedule. We were also in Florida already so found it easy to just do it at CVS, as we are already customers of theirs at home.

  11. Hello from one of the only 900+ passengers on this ship. Things are quiet here (think I saw a rolling tumbleweed)which has its pros and cons. No settling for some out of the way lounge or table. The dining room has not been full for the 2 dinners we’ve had-even with the upper room closed. Service is exceptional with plenty of time to chat up those pleasant crew members. Cons-many of those conversations turn into an attempt to sell something to you like tastings, photo packages, treatments, etc.  No vibe from others to feed off of as venues have small turnouts. Some ball dropping when it came to excursion and clamshell (none available. Check on island where there were many available and no one other than my husband and guide on his). Reservation reminders are by text-guess that lowers paper use. But glad we are here with a nice room,  good food, SBP, which for those of you with the question about it not showing on reservation, it says SBP on your card,  lots of activities with tons of staff onboard for larger group next week and lots of space to relax in and enjoying it all!
