  1. We were able to drop off hand luggage once we boarded preziosa a few weeks ago. Allowed us to explore and get lunch without hassle of lugging bags behind us.  I would assume this is possible on all ships.

  2. We are on same sailing.  Will have 4 days in dubai pre-crisis and are planning on getting to port around 10.   Did this on preziosa last month and were onboard just after 11

  3. Hi fellow travellers ...

Just wondering if anyone could give me info on if computers are available on board to use (primarily to print off boarding passes).   we are sailing next Tuesday  (12th nov) and are flying home to Ireland on the following Saturday (17th).  Booked on ryanair and need to check in 4 days prior to avail of no extra charges 😂😂

Have never used ryanair app before and a little nervous about doing so.

    Any advise gratefully received

  4. Thanks guys,

Flights and transfers are included in my booking but they gave me ryanair reference number to check in online myself.

Have never sailed MSC before so dont know what to expect.  Im more interested in boarding time so i can plan our day in lisbon; and would rather know more than a week out our timings for transfer from genoa to milan for flight home😭.   38 days before we head off.

  5. Hijacking this ... sorry!

If booked through  TA does these timeframes apply? We are 5 weeks out and TA is trying to tell me documents 7 days before boarding??

I have already gone online to MSC website and have inputted all our details

  6. We are sailing in november and was wondering if we can request table for the 4 of us travelling together rather than sharing with 2/4 others? We have already requested later sitting but not confirmed yet.

Thanks in advance for any advise given

  7. Ashley, we enjoyed meeting you and your Mom and Rianna, and hope we sail with you again. What was your final impression of Regatta, after coming all the way from Ireland?

Don both myself and Peggie were most impressed with everything about the ship! Would have so loved to stay on board, even just for another week!! Sadly, due to work commitments i cannot take much time off next year, and i think we have New Zealand in the pipeline for 2015 so who knows when i can next get my sea legs on again.

But i may be able to squeeze a week next June ... will see how this new company of mine gets going before making any definate plans!

Please pass on our best wishes to Betsy, and thank her for introducing us to the Bill & Melinda Foundation! Rianna visited twice on our return to Seattle (and i thought it was pretty cool too!)

I will send you a quick email with our contact details and when you are this side of the pond i would love to meet up and show you some real irish hospitality!

  8. Thankfully everyone we met on the cruise was very mannerly towards us. We enjoyed afternoon tea every day with other guests and found everyone we sat with to be great fun and friendly. We ate lunch alone as its not fair to expect other guests to dine with a 6yr old!.

I dont think our little girl upset too many people in the pool as any time she swan there was no other guests in the water. I didnt let her use the hot tubs and told her they were for over 16 (which they should be in my opinion!) I was the one sitting in my raincoat with umbrella and wrapped in blankets in Prince Rupert while Rianna was very happy swimming in the rain!!

The kids club was well attended (i would think between 20-30 children) and both Lauren and Jenn did a great job in keeping the little ones entertained and away from other adult guests.
