I don’t see anything on the app, I’ll check the dailies when we get back to our suite.

we ferried to St. George- the Carnival ship left earlu afternoon. We were going to repeat a long walk we have done from center of St George but around by Alexandria Bay battery and the long walk to Tobacco Bay. It’s a nice long walk… but hubbies knee was bothering him so we hopped in a bus shuttle for 7$ each to Clearwater Beach. We could have walked into Coopers Island but just plopped dow, swam, and relaxed. On ship hungry, but had to eat pizza cause I didn’t like what they had out, even the desserts.

Beautiful water! How was Clearwater? it doesn't look too crowded.  We've been to Horshoe and Tobacco Bay on past trips.  Were you able to rent chairs and umbrella? Do they have clean restrooms?  Thanks for any advice!

We were at Clearwater Beach a few weeks ago. Yes, there is a new concession there and it is quite nice. A large outdoor bar, and grilled food from a food truck next to it. Rentals for chairs and umbrellas and clean restrooms. The new owner is anxious to please. Food and beverage prices are not cheap but are what I expect in Bermuda.

Do you know what they are charging for chair/umbrella rentals? Thanks!

We are scheduled to be on the Summit sailing Sept 8th.  I have severe asthma.  If they are just drying the carpets and leaving the old carpet down, I am concerned about what it will do to those of us that are air sensitive.

From what we saw on deck 9, the carpets were all ripped out and rolls of new carpet were waiting to be put down

  4. Sorry, for the delays... There is one character there that sings his heart out as he goes around with the coffee. brings a smile to everyone's face. One funny story was one morning he was standing right behind us and started belting out the Jamaica National Anthem. Who knew that the Jamaica National Anthem had so many verses, everyone would start to applaud and he was on to the next. What made it awkward for me was out of respect I didn't eat or carry on a conversation with my table mates... and the one line just kept running in my head all day :')

That's Donovan! He is awesome, and spreads his joy everywhere!

  5. We had Seon as our steward too!! He was awesome :)

We're also just back from the 9 day cruise. We had some minor issues with the cabin. Seon, our friendly steward, made some calls and followed up to ensure the issues were gone. TV satellite service was spotty for several days. Guest relations apologized and said it's being worked on. Select dining reservation system is flawed so best to make reservations before the cruise. The Captain Club hostess Rati was eager to help with many issues.

The comments here by the frequent Celebrity cruisers are accurate. No cruise line can get a perfect score, and I'm happy with 80+ % for what I'm paying.

  6. I wonder if they will be running this shuttle on Sunday, when we arrive in Boston?

Today's dailies. We opted to take the Celebrity shuttle round trip to Quincy Market for $15. Uber would be cheaper but it is an extra $10 for a car seat each way so this worked out best for us. We will be meeting up with friends today. Captain Kate announced that we docked aft-first today for the purpose of allowing the rooftop terrace and aft of the ship the best chance of seeing the fireworks. It is a beautiful clear day.
