It was "Little French Key" in Roatan Honduras. It was our second time there. We LOVE IT. The snorkeling is just like swimming in a fish tank and the beach is the bluest and calmest water. A little piece of heaven!!!!
i just showed this to my 17and 13 year old.... kool video !!

At least you were kind enough to tell your husband. lol
I booked in 2011 and I have not told him or the kids. They will find out soon enough.... lol :)
( sorry for long answer...)
Ditto..... Here's my situation
1) having kids, cruising is the best of both worlds versus any other vacation. The kids have fun, I have fun, and my husband has fun. Everyone has something to do on a cruise that they love in a balcony or a suite.
2) Unfortunately... my husband does not like to cruise as much as me(Family Cultural Pressure..everyone in his family talks negative about cruising, as my husband is the only one that can swim in his family , since I taught him during our marriage., and his origins are West Africa .) I was confused because the whole Country is surrounded by water!!!!..anyway, recently I have started booking Suites to keep his interest up with the luxury to outweigh the" family cultural perspectives".
3) Plus, every time I book a cruise.. im like "Diva" above.... I NEVER EVER EVER!!! tell my husband, as he would find a million other uses of things I could be spending my money on:o!! It would be the main topic of discussion for 7 months....smh!:( since I'm in control of my 'vacation destiny" if left to him, he would go "NOWHERE" !!. So I book it and start mentioning the real cool things on the ship no other ship has!!.. And he always comes around!!! he's a lot of fun to go out with , otherwise, i would go by myself.:D

Eat at 6 pm or earlier? Surely that's a time for Afternoon Tea, not dinner? Lol (sorry, the Brit in me speaking), we never eat before 8pm here.
In the UK only old people eat before 6 pm....
HaHaaa... you are so right Jewels, i nearly starved trying to find a restaurant in Spain opened at 6 pm for dinner!!! I lived there for 2 years, and could never adapt to the European style of eating, yet??? everyone there in Spain is so skinny???? go figure..... here in the usa , eating at 9 pm is a perfect recipe for some new upgraded dress sizes!!

I've thoroughly enjoyed the thread. I'm glad Mike came back and posted what his experience was on Epic because it was...... the rest of the story.
:)
Kathy
i totally agree. Everyone has their own views of what is comfortable to them and what is not, we should respect everyone's views, and not pass judgement. I also lived in Europe for over 8 years, and enjoy the freedom of "self" :)If it wasn't for Mike's thread, i never knew their was a freestyle deck!! Thanks MIKE!!!! :) ;)

This might sound wierd...but no matter where i go, and especially on cruises, and airplanes, i always take a little travel container( about the size of a eyeshadow pot of makeup).. and put Vicks Vapo Rub ( the solid kind)in it. Because of the fluctuation of airtemperatures, i always end up with a stuffy nose or congestion, and nothing clears it like Vicks. It also helps to sleep too!!
Meds are so important!!especially for upset stomach .. if you have any antibiotics... i know they say its not good to take them alot, but Trust me...when your on a cruise,, and you happen to get an upset stomach, and you know it is gonna take more than tums or pepto bismol (which they don't sell on some of cruise ships gift shops) especially when you eat or even drink coffee and it just keeps comming up. its either go to the ship doctor and have them charge you $300 and up( gotta pay doctors visit and doctors fee and medical supplies then medicine) ..cuz you will pay it up front, and then when you get home, file the claim , wait 4 weeks , you can hopefully get reimbursed for it by your travel insurance.. if you purchased it....personal experience.
