  1. For those wanting to sue for reasons other than injury or death, this is the contract that all passengers agree to before sailing on Carnival...other lines have similar clauses....

(d)Any and all disputes, claims, or controversies whatsoever, other than for personal injury, illness or death of a Guest, whether brought in personam or in rem or based on contract, tort, statutory, constitutional or other legal rights, including but not limited to alleged violation of civil rights, discrimination, consumer or privacy laws, or for any losses, damages or expenses, relating to or in any way arising out of or connected with this Contract or Guest’s cruise, no matter how described, pleaded or styled, between the Guest and Carnival, with the sole exception of claims brought and litigated in small claims court, shall be referred to and resolved exclusively by binding arbitration pursuant to the United Nations Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (New York 1958), 21 U.S.T. 2517, 330 U.N.T.S. 3, 1970 U.S.T. LEXIS 115, 9 U.S.C. §§ 202-208 (“the Convention”) and the Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. §§ 1, et seq., (“FAA”) solely in Miami-Dade County, Florida, U.S.A. to the exclusion of any other forum.

So you file a lawsuit, the judge sends it to arbitration and it’s gets settled. Carnival is still going write a check.

  2. I wouldn't ask a staff member to " hop " down 8 decks to retrieve one dessert from the main galley that is not on the steakhouse menu, it's pushy and selfish.

Or it’s just asking for something you would like, they most likely would call for a runner. Don’t worry, he wouldn’t have to actually “run” or “hop”. He would just bring it up.

  3. Actually I think a Baller wouldn't get Cheers.......

They'd want to order what they want - whenever they want and not deal with all the rules.

Wait 5 minutes, no doubles, no buckets, no large format drinks, no "I need to stick to the recipe B.S." - etc.

I still pay for buckets during the day and rounds of shots at night. I have the bartender let me know when I hit 14 so I can just buy drinks until the end of the night when I get my 15th (last) drink of the night. Also my wife doesn’t come close to 15 so I use hers as well.

  4. Kazzam is objectively one of the worst movies ever. His rap albums are made fun of. I’m not arguing he wasn’t a great player but he was a great player a relatively long time ago. Further he was one of the stars his whole career but never THE star of the league like Tebow was his three years as a starter in college. LOL at Shaq having advanced degrees. I have gone to battle with my university about cheapening our degrees basically giving them to athletes and actors who take classes as their schedules allow. They are often very nice people but they always put in the minimum effort and we are forced to pass them.

Tebow would be pointless. That would be like putting Billy Clements in commercials.

  5. Carnival may know your mind better than you because they have sure pulled the wool over your eyes.

It’s just fact. I’m 35 so, for my age group, sailing on Celebrity would probably be my next choice if I wanted a better experience and were to pay more but still sail with people close in age. Sailing with Celebrity I will pay more for better quality. But, I’m pay a **** ton more. Carnival is a budget cruise line, and the only way to remain a budget cruise line is to have small cutbacks. Sure there have been a lot of small cut backs but, for the cost of a carnival cruise it’s still the best value on the sea. Price out other cruise lines and see what policies (cutbacks) they have implemented in the last few years. For the value, Carnival is still the best.

  6. People are funny. “How dare they charge a buck or two for a limited amount of time.” Hit up another cruise line where you will pay more for the cruise and pay every hour on the hour for room service. Have fun! Toodles
