  1. I haven't found any useful information that explains how ordering at Wonderland works, apart from having to paint your menu.

I assume that they don't simply bring everything on the menu, but otherwise, I get the feeling that the variety of courses depends on the number of people on the table, and that some dishes are shared.

Can anyone tell me what two people would realistically be offered?

This is for Anthem, if that makes any difference.

  2. On our upcoming Anthem Cruise, we have the unlimited dining package.

We have a courtesy reservation for dinner on the first day, but don't know where. I do know that once aboard, we have to go to a specialty restaurant to book the rest of our meals.

My question is this. Jamie's Italian is open for lunch on boarding day. Can we go there and have lunch without a prior reservation? Would this covered by the dining package?

You will probably pass the pre cruise PCR test, Viking are the people to ask about documentation. Can you get one of the postal tests to document you've got it, or get to an airport test site (if there are still any there) As long as you can submit it in the next few days it doesn't matter too much when you get the result.

Wondering if a self cert via test and trace QR code antigen will do, as it is on an official platform. Perhaps enter one on the system and see what documents get regurgitated

    Thanks,

I don't want to visit an airport while I'm still infectious.

Given the current spike in cases, I'm surprised that there isn't more information front and central on Viking's website. The clause about requiring a private positive PCR test result taken while I still have Covid was buried several pages deep.

Has anyone actually gone through this scenario?

  4. My pre-departure checklist states:

"If you have recovered from a previous COVID-19 infection, ensure you carry documentation of
recovery or a positive PCR test result from the time of infection"

I live in the UK and currently have Covid-19. My cruise departs in 44 days.

Can anyone tell me what "documentation of recovery" means and whether or not an NHS PCR test result is accepted? It isn't for the 72 hours before departure test, but my options for getting a third party test right now are limited.

  5. Not a good first impression! Dinner reservations for my first cruise with Viking just opened up this morning, and the only time available for specialty restaurants is 9:00pm on day one, when, due to the arrival time of our Viking booked flights, we will be sitting in our stateroom waiting for the results of our Covid tests.

I'm not too worried, as hopefully we'll be able to book tables on board, but, come on Viking! There should be at least one slot available that we can physically make! It doesn't show a very high regard for your guests.

Can anyone confirm whether the port used for Inverness is actually Inverness or Invergordon?

Looks more likely to be Invergordon for Sihouette, but itinerary says Inverness!

    Thanks!

X are geographically challenged. On some cruises the itinerary says London when the ship docks in Southampton. Worryingly, after Costa Concordia, ships no longer use paper charts.

  7. OK, progress of sorts.

No joy with using AOL or YAHOO accounts. We had to create a new email account, GMAIL worked.

Our next problem was that one of the earlier "helpers" changed the Trustone account password, and sent it to our AOL account, which we couldn't read. The solution to that was to send another new password, this time to the GMAIL account.

Now we can log in and change the password to something easier to remember.

Let's hope that's the end of it.

  8. I've just discovered that Eurofins can't send emails to anyone with an AOL or YAHOO email account.

We discovered this when my PCR test appointment details came through, but my wife's, who has an AOL account, didn't.

I'm trying, without success so far, to find a work around with them, using a different email address.

All I can suggest at the moment, if you're waiting to hear from them, is to call them.
