We received an upsell yesterday (which we took ) for 12/14 on the Eurodam

Went from VA to SB aft wrap around Verandah Cabin for $299 pp

We are very very happy with this.

We were upgraded from a VA to a Neptune Suite once, at time of embarkation - didn't know til we got to check in that we were being upgraded.

We have accepted Neptune Suite Upsells our past 3 cruises though.

We are 4 star mariners, not sure if that factors in

we are on the Eurodam 12/14 - does anyone know what type of group the nation group is? By googling I found an insurance company in FL but I'm not sure that's what it is!

We received upsell #1 a little over three weeks out, the second one came right before thanksgiving and the third one came Wednesday of this week for us...and we sail a week from tomorrow...hopefully you all get the upsells you are looking for!

We've been very fortunate with upsells in the past few years...i'm wondering if this is because i now book directly through HAL. I often wonder if my TA wasn't sharing upgrade offers with us...

We just received our 3rd upsell for our 12/14 cruise...this one was an absolute steal!! Had to jump on it and very much looking forward to the suite life!!!

Sail7seas, you are right!!! HAL has conditioned me to hunt out the better deal...throughout the booking process, not just at upsell time. As much as mom and I love the Neptune Suites, I'm willing to risk waiting it out...unless an offer for the Pinnacle suite comes along...lol

Has anyone received multiple upsell offers and/or negotiated a better upsell deal? Im not happy with the offer that we received and am wondering about your experiences...

Maybe next time you see someone in a wheelchair or walker, you could consider them an inspiration. And hope to yourself that if or when you become in need of mobility aids, you still have the enthusiasm for life to continue travelling.
