There is no -spot- Covid testing, that I have seen or heard of onboard. There is a complimentary ride from the ship off of the pier in CocoCay. There is also a shuttle that will transport you around the island of CocoCay. I and not aware of any sharing tables in the dining room.

Thanks for the information, it's very helpful.
Do I understand the seating correctly - every couple or family group has its own table at dinner?

I've enjoyed following your experiences, Radio. Thanks!
A couple of questions regarding covid protocol: Are there still "sharing tables" in the main dining room? We've always enjoyed sitting at a table for 8 or 10 for the socialization.
Does RC do "spot" covid testing of its passengers throughout the cruise?
Is there any accommodations for a person who has difficulty walking from the ship to the pool at Coco Cay? I remember that it was a long walk from the gangway to the beginning of the island.
Thanks again for your updates.

We were just in Ocho Rios. We did Dunn's River Falls with Peat Taylor and had a great time. After that, he took us to Mahogany Beach which is next to a large hotel and the entrance fee was included in out excursions. The beach had umbrellas and lounges ($5 each to rent), changing rooms, a bathroom and a restaurant. The beach was rather small but adequate.

Sue - I'll be sure to let you know if I hear anything before our trip and I'll post some notes regarding our experiences afterwards.

Hi - FLYING BROOMSTICK - Thanks for posting your experience with Ramses Tours. We are taking the 12 day cruise on Navigator of the Seas on 09/05 and would love to hear any further information you may have to share. What did people wear on these excursions? Are "long" shorts o.k. for men? Capris for women o.k.? We want to be comfortable but not stand out like a sloppy tourist. Does the Ramses tour stop along the way to Cairo from Alexandria or is it a straight 3 hour ride?
If anyone has information on this itinerary they would like to share, I can be reached at joannecalhoun@yahoo.com.
Thanks!

Has anyone been on RCI's Chacchoben Mayan Ruins tour recently? Was it worth the time/money? Is the area safe these days?
Thanks for your input.
