Does anyone know for sure what time your flight must be at Orlando Airport to participate in the luggage valet program from Port Canaveral? We will be on the Harmony in March. I see some conflicting times in other threads, and most are quite old. It varies from 11am- 12:30pm. Flights we are looking at are all in that range and I don't want to miss out because my flight is just a tad too early. Thank you!

Boarding in 2 weeks- following! Thanks for posting.

If one has a drink pkg, is there a restriction on which wines are included? I'm a Pinot Grigio drinker, and need my Pinot!

My Dr once said, you can recover at home... or be somewhere sunny and warm and recover there. The choice is yours. Sunny and warm recovery wins every time.

Is there a magnifying mirror? JS if that matters. We were in a GS last time, and I don't think there was one, but I'm not sure. My eyesight isn't as good now so it matters more than it used to!

I tried to do a search and came up unsuccessful. Does anyone have the email address to make dining room seating requests.
Sailing on the Indy on March 5 if that matters.

Out of curiosity, what sorts of special dining requests do people make? Has anyone used this before?

We got off and headed over there around 9:30am. About half an hour after we docked. We were the first ones there and got our pick. However in my opinion there are not any bad ones! They are all in one row facing the water. Some are closer to the water than others but we chose the one closest to the roped off entrance and we loved it. Some other folks took the one that is practically two steps from the water and they had kids so that was perfect for them.
Thank you for sharing your first hand knowledge. Exactly what I was hoping to hear.

Any advice on how early to get off to get a good location? We had one on barefoot beach last time, but it was specifically reserved. I understand these are allocaTed upon arrival. Are there any bad locations? I would hate to pay a bunch of money and be disappointed with it. I wish you could pick in advance.

Bathroom, Balcony, Balcony.
How about 7626? I appreciate your expertise!

We booked a W guarantee on Allure of the Seas for March Break, and just had it assigned after the final payment deadline passed a couple of weeks ago. Fingers were crossed for a grand suite, but that's a tall order over March Break. We ended up with a jr. suite, 7626. I've very happy with the location! Now...we wait...

Is the room assignment always after you are paid in full, or do they sometimes assign it before?

I just checked online: All my Documents are issued and all are showing the same Suite #. Looks like I'm doing a 13-night TA in the Grand Suite. 😁
Sweet score!! Congratulations- you got what I'm hoping for with my booking. Wish me luck!
Do you get the grand suite perks as well with this? CL access, etc?

We took our young son with us into the hills to visit the birth place of Bob Marley. We had a great time! The Jamaicans are loving and kind, and adore children. It's not Kingston. Obviously keep an eye on them as you would anywhere you travel, and be smart/aware. There is no reason not to get out and enjoy all that Jamaica has to offer. It's a beautiful country with beautiful people.

We loved Barefoot Beach. There was also a private buffet for the suite guests. It wasn't crowded, and the beach had fabulous snorkeling as well.
-
When we were at Barefoot Beach I was able to request a specific cabana in advance through our concierge. Are you able to request a location? We're some better than others or were they all fairly equally close to the water?
-
Thank you for sharing this. We had a cabana on barefoot beach last time and loved it. I was debating getting one of these this time, or perhaps just beach hopping for the day. I appreciate the pics and info. I didn't realize it's a private beach area. I just thought it was a cabana on a beach that anyone can visit. Was it crowded? Could you order drinks or was there a bar nearby?

This is all great info. You are answering questions I didn't know I had! We just booked Allure and I'm lovin' reading this!

I'm in the process of choosing my cabin on Allure (yay!) and we have always been on higher decks. I was interested in trying a lower level- deck 6- for easy access to the shops and bars. I was also thinking it would be nice to be closer to the wake for the sound on the balcony.
My concern is looking out off the balcony and staring at the top of a lifeboat. If that was the case, I'd rather be up high to look out over the water.
Specifically, I was booking 6212. Can anyone offer expert insight?

Hi Karen, I do agree that a cruise like this is a dream. As a recent breast cancer survivor, however, I am well aware of the big picture. This b2b cruise is something of a dream come true for me. My point in recent postings is not meant to complain. In fact, I have said just the opposite--that I do not intend to let the cabin layout interfere with my enjoyment of the cruise. BUT: Royal has sold this cabin as a GS with GS prices and a GS photo and it is not a GS nor a GS balcony. I think these discrepancies are apparent to all of us now and this is the reason for this thread. We are all coming to terms with this new suite category and this, too, shall pass.:)
I apologize if my comment sounded like I thought you were complaining- I didn't get that impression at all. I was more agreeing with you! I sensed you had a great attitude about not letting a potential bad layout spoil your trip :-)

While I agree that lots of parents are irresponsible with regards to child care while on vacation AND at home, I'm not sure anyone here has the full story to be able to condemn the parents as negligent. Who even knows here if the parents were looking after the child at the time of the accident? They could have been with a grandparent or other adult at the time. One can't be judge and jury without knowing what actually happened. I'm sure the parents are devastated over the tragedy.

If you collect airmiles you can book a hotel online with your points.

I would be pleased to take photos of the balcony for you, cabin as well but I have never posted photos to CC and don't know how well I would manage that, especially during the cruise. I could send them to your email listed and you could the post them here, if you choose.
I will also attempt a video (stress the word attempt). :)
I read a while back that the beds cannot be separated and asked my TA to check on it. Royal told her they could definitely be separated. Guess I will find out. This cabin has turned out to be a crap shoot. Let's hope for the best!
It is something many people only dream of. When something isn't absolutely perfect, remember the big picture. You are in a suite on the Oasis. I am sure you will have a spectacular time! :-)

Well I have almost made my decision about whether or not I will keep room 14730 but I have a favor to ask of you Pooh8941. Would it be possible for you to take a picture of the balcony that is accessed from the bedroom? We love to eat breakfast on the balcony and I believe there is plenty of room to do this but I want to make sure. It will also be interesting to see if they have now added pictures and hung the tv's on the wall. From other posts I think they have added a couple of small ottomans for the couch as well. The pictures just posted were awesome but it was the first time for anyone to stay in those rooms so it would be good to see if they are any more completed.
I think we will keep our 14330 booking but we are not sailing until Jan2016 so lots of time to decide. Would you report back to this thread with an update, and maybe an extensive video tour?

Thank you Tulsacoker :)
I normally fly on Canadian airlines so we have never used this program but it sounds dreamy to use. I might actually choose AA or Delta just to take advantage. I presume when on a connecting flight they route the bags right to the end of your journey.
