  1. After many sailings on O, we decided to try A because we had heard raves about friendly crew, white nights and more perks. We will probably not sail A again. The food on O was far superior, white nights was about moving furniture and very loud music and so so food. The seating on board was low and uncomfortable. Library was cold with uncomfortable chairs. No afternoon tea like O, but cold, help yourself sandwiches available. The Living Room (Horizons) did not have as many chairs, because of large dance floor and control booth. Instruments were in front of center windows. Card room and internet were also in Horizon. Loveseat in room made it look larger, but was too small for 2 people. The Amazing Evening was wonderful and a highlight of the trip. The crew was not overly friendly and didn't joke around like some waiters we've had on O. We liked Windstar better than A, but O would rate the highest in several categories.

  2. Sailed a couple of years ago on odin, full balcony because room is larger than french balcony. Balcony was usually wet, so barely used, but extra space nice. our main complaint was noise level in dining room at dinner. I had a headache and my husband was hoarse, just trying to talk to person next to or across from.

We could hear person in next room snoring and talking, as well as TV and closet doors being closed. Food was average. Lounge wasn't big enough. If you didn't arrive early for entertainment or port talk, you were stuck behind bar and couldn't see or hear. Ship had been in service about 2 months when we boarded, but most plugs didn't, work. People in suite at rear found it noisy from engine. Otherwise we couldn't hear engine.

  3. We are arriving at Copenhagen Freeport Terminal by ship on July 22 at 7am and need a taxi to get to the airport for a midmorning flight. Can someone advise whether taxis will be there or if we need to reserve or call ahead? If we need to reserve ahead any suggestions?

I read somewhere that fare would be 400-500 DKK. Is this about right?
