Okay a little off topic, but just thinking positively about our May 12 cruise. Does anyone have any idea how much we should expect to pay for transportation from the port to the hotel in Barcelona or the best mode of transportation?  Also, from an airport hotel to the port? Thank you for the info info advance:)

Hi, I emailed my hotel for options to the port , as well as wanted to know about transportation from airport to my hotel. I fly in a day earlier than my daughter. I located Suntransfers through Trip Advisor and they were very prompt, and have great reviews

We sail in 90 days as well. I always print off my purchase confirmations for things like dining, beverage, excursions--and I'll print out my Key confirmation too.

Good idea. I also read that there will be signage directing Key members to a different line to check in. See you there 😊

Just got off Allure if the Seas and we decided to use our onboard credits to help purchase the new “Key” program access.  We definitely think it’s worth it.  It is almost like you are being treated like a suite guest.  Reserved seating at all shows was very nice so we didn’t have to get there early to get good seats. It was such a great boarding expernce and then we had a quiet lunch at Chops grill.  Our cabin was ready when we finished lunch so we went straight to our cabin from there.  Seemed like every time there was a line (except for the crazy Windjammer restaurant ) we just showed our seapass card that had a little key sticker on it , and we were taken another way and treated special.  Last night we were given special tags for our luggage and told we could get off the ship anytime from 7:30 - 10:30 am.  We had a special menu breakfast this morning in the Grand dining room on deck 4. After leaving the ship we were escorted through the suite exit and our luggage was in a special area.

Just thought I would share our experience and thoughts in case anyone was considering purchasing the Key program.

Hello, we also purchased the Key. It’s 90 days until we sail, so I checkecked in online and printed Sail Passes, but no mention of the Key. My understanding is that it also gives you Priority boarding. How is this recognizable? Thank you

  4. I only book guranteed cabins. Its always the cheapest price. I book my cruise let them assign me a room. Check and see if I like the room. Then call and see what rooms are available in the same category and based on whats available decide which cabin I like the best. I have never been let down and the price is always reasonable.

Hi, if I have just had my TA switch us from an Inside PR on FOS to a Guaranty Balcony and we don't like the location, do we ask our TA to find us another in the same category, or contact RCI directly. I know I can ask her, but love the info I get on these boards! Thank you.

  5. anyone use Orland Holiday Transportation?

Hi. Has anyone used Sunrise Florida Transportation before. They offer a private, not shared transportation from our hotel near Disney to the port, for 4 people, was quoted $90, all taxes, tolls included. Saw Executive Limo was recommended on these boards, when I called, spoke to Mike he was a great guy but quoted $140 for the same. Always happy to save $50 but would rather have some feedback from other cruisers, before I decide. Thank you.

  6. oops sorry.. this posted twice//

Executive VIP is another often suggested MCO/PC transportation provider.

  8. Used them twice and booked for more. Great service. Extremely prompt (actually always early!), cheerful, nice cars. Great way to go.

  9. Quick car rental question. Hope this is the right spot ;-) We want to rent a car while in Cape Canaveral so DH, and both DD can go to the Kennedy Space Center. All the rental places seem to close by 6pm, if we want to keep the car later how do we get back to the ship once we drop off the car? Has anyone done this? It seems more reasonable than 3 X $90 for NCL excursion. I checked with a taxi co. $80 round trip. Car rental $32. Has anyone done this. All info appreciated. Thank you
