Thanks. Exactly what I was wondering. I dove at Coco cay and loved it but was wondering if the snorkeling was worth it.

I have been tLabadee 5 x and this summer when we go again, yea we do get the snorkel gear, free for a guest on Barefoot beach.

 

But, you have to realize there is not much in the way of fishies to see, the area is over fished by the locals.

 

You may see some minnows and small fish, and an occasional eel.

But save the snorkeling for another port.

OK, so there's no where within walking distance to go snorkeling...you need a boat to find a reef? I have my own gear as well..
