I have booked a cruise with my god daughter, who lost her son a day after his first birthday in June just to get away. Then she said she wanted her sister to go too. So now I have 2 girls going. I have offered them to pick out clothes out of my closet, but they are 23 and 26 and have decided that my clothes are " old lady clothes". :rolleyes: does anyone have anything nice that they would be willing to part with cheaply? I have paid for the cruise and will probably be covering all other expenses including an excursion, if I can squeeze one out and am running on empty. I would like them to have a good trip as I don't know that they will ever get this opportunity again. Thank you. Oh they wear 18/20 for Kym (23) and 22/24 for Roxanne (26).

I would love to live all year in Florida. I love the Space Coast. We live across the street from the beach in Fl. We are out side of Rochester NY in the summer and I can't wait to fall to get back to Fl in the fall.

Ladies I think you are all wonderful!

I was a bit upset last night when I received an email from one of the lady who received one of my gowns. She accused me of misrepresenting the gown; apparently she could not get into the gown. She also said, since she cannot wear my gown, therefore she should not have to pay for the postage. I told her to throw it in the trash :mad::(.

 

I show my husband the email. He was upset too. He wanted me to take my clothes to the Goodwill. I have to think about this

I don't mind a repeat ship, it's still a cruise! We are going on the breeze 8/31, now that will be a new one for me!

Great review, we are sailing on her 4/20, me and dh will be the second time. Bringing our 21 ds this is his very first cruise. Freedom was my dh's first cruise. Beautiful pictures!

Not really, I experienced Andrew and Wilma. It's not our turn again yet! Wilma hit us hard, We lost part of the roof, a wall, and no power for more than three weeks, driveway, fridge fried. Prepared yes, looking forward no. Are you north of WPB or south?

People have passed around various stuffed animals to see how many places it could visit. Maybe a dress could do the same, it could be The Sisterhood of the Traveling Dress.:D

I just love the idea of all those lovely dresses that have travelled the world. Imagine the night time conversations in your wardrobes, "Hey, pinkie, I've done 20 cruises so far. How about you?" "Oh gee, green satin, I've only clocked up one so far, but it was an around-the-world, so I think that's like a full house, isn't it." "Hey, you two, don't forget me. These shoes have walked the streets of Venice, Hong Kong, Valparaiso, and watched sheep sheering in New Zealand."

 

You are a lovely bunch of ladies to allow your clothes to accumulate such wonderful experiences and I'll certainly be watching for what may pop up in a size 14 for an Australian closer to my departure date.
