  1. We are cruising on the Emerald with a group in September. We would like to have traditional seating as a group, but 2 days when we are in port my husband and I would like to eat lunch in town then have a later dinner on the ship. Can we choose Traditional then opt for anytime on those two nights?

  2. Our flight will get in around 4:00, so I hear this may mean rush hour traffic? Car service, have never used one. Do you know of one or should I just google NY car service?

I will check out the Marriot and Holiday Inns. Can you recommend any places to eat around that area?

I appreciate all your suggestions, New York is a big place and it is difficult making plans for a place you have never been.

    Thanks, Tracey

  3. This will be our first time on the East Coast. We will be flying in to LGA on Friday for our cruise on Princess on Saturday. After returning the following Saturday, we will stay in New York for 2 nights. Looking for information on hotels and transportation to and from the port. Pre cruise hotel just needs to be comfortable and affordable. Post cruise we prefer something around Times Square for the experience. Not alot of time in New York, but hoping for some sightseeing in Times Square, Central Park and Ellis Island.

    Any suggestions welcome!

  4. Our cruise in May on the Sapphire was our 4th and we had the maroon colored cards as we were Medallion Level. Last week we boarded the Golden and were given a Gold card. We checked with the Captains Circle Desk and were told they had ran out of the maroon cards. So we were Ruby Class, but had Gold cards.

Luggage tags and room tags did say Ruby.

  5. Had a change of plans and after docking in Vancouver on Saturday morning, we are going to stay one night before flying home. We are staying at the Westin Bayfront. We won't have time to do alot, so I thought we would stay around the stanley park area. Is there any must sees? We would also like to eat at a good seafood restaurant, any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Tracey

  6. For seafood near 17th St, cruiser favorites are Kelly's Landing, Bimini Boatyard, and 15th St Fisheries (last one is a long walk or very short ride of just over a mile, might want to walk there and take a taxi back to hotel).

Thanks, will do a web search and print out some menus. Sure is nice to have someone with your knowledge on these boards!

    Thanks!
