Hey there - I'm communicating with the person who owns the Jeep/moped rental company hoping to determine if these ruins are by MOLO - I've seen videos on YouTube that is it looks like the road mentioned. I'll keep you posted when I learn more to see if you'd be interested in joining us.

El Cedral? (southern end of island) El Gervasio? (Northern end - toward center of island) Where is the ruin? We just called RCCL and the agent didn't know the name of the ruin but said it appears as though it is located more toward the edge of the island....on a cliff- where there is a secluded beach too - we can't seem to find it on Google maps....hum...anyone have feedback? - mrvago@comcast.net- we'll be there on March 11 and are trying to set up the excursion...Thanks in advance for anyone's insight

Please keep us posted if you learn anymore about the mayan ruin tour. We typically rent mopeds and venture out on our own to tour the island - to South tip then around to Coconuts on the hill....it's a nice day out n' about. This looks really interesting though - especially as it has never been opened to the public before recently! mrvago@comcast.net -

I gained 10 lbs. on our last cruise - that's right - I indulged...I can't even imagine how anyone could eat such rich foods for 170+ days at sea - YIKES
We had 10729 and 10727 -- basically very similar to yours, just on the other side of the Boardwalk.I agree with the pp, it's a long walk.
Here is a link to my pix -- there are a lot of the view from the room and the inside of 10729.

Firstly, it's best ALWAYS research a ship before you book a cabin! We've sailed on the Oasis # 11329 which didn't have the large slide in front of the balcony - However, we booked opposite side on the Symphony of the Seas in 2019 # 11729 - even though there is the obstructed view - you can get a clear view of the ocean from your balcony, people watch and still see the acrobactics at the Aquatheater from the comfort of your own cabin balcony - it's a win/win - People who don't do their due diligence prior to booking a cabin shouldn't complain or make excuses about their accommodations - that's ALL on YOU! Enjoy the cruise - there are so many great spots to relax and experience the open sea - Aft on these huge ships gives you the best of 3 worlds - Entertainment, Ocean view and good people watching - Cheers
