I believe there is another benefit to purchasing your package once on the ship and in international waters: No tax. Tax is added to the package if you purchase before your trip. So if you are thinking about it and not sure, don't fret, you may save a bit more money in the end.

Believe tax is only added if you purchase in port, it is not added if you purchase ahead of time.

...Although I must admit I was slightly horrified when getting my print out / bill on the last night that during 1 sea day / evening I had gone through 15 beers, 3 Guiness, 3 Boddingtons and 4 glasses of Merlot !!!!!!

Interesting to know how they dealt with the souvenir glasses issue - I thought about this the other day and originally assumed they wouldn't be included (also how on earth would we take 40 glasses home... haha) but recalled their being less than the $12.

Souvenier glasses are not included in the package!

Thanks very much for the info. Interesting though, do you know if you wanted one of the drinks in the souvenir glass are you charged for it in full and if not in full how much?

It was more the ease of the drink of the day than the glass I was interested in - you know, just grabbing one - but as you can order a frozen drink anyway sounds good!

I did a lot of research before I bought the package and also discovered a glitch with Celebrity's website as it tried to add the 15% twice before you finally make the on line purchase. The cost finally reverts back to the cost plus 15% and that's it. Nothing further was added once I was on board.

I have a question - are the "drink of the day" frozen drinks in the souvenir glasses included? I thought the limit is $12 per drink and they are $10?
