  1. I have been using combank cc free insurance for over 15 years.  They use covermore for the insurance company.  Last march i claimed near on $20k for cancelled cruise medical issue.  I had to supply heaps of hospital medical records but got back everything.  Claim excess was 250.

I 100% recommend them.  Have 3 policies currently in place for upcoming cruise.  No problems.

  2. I was on the Royal Maiden TA, and know the Royal and Regal were designed differently and aft cabins had awful soot problems. Does anyone know for certain if those problems still exist? or have they done something to minimize/alleviate it? Anyone sailed in one of those aft cabins on either ship recently?

I did the Majestic june this year Singapore to Shaghi. had 21 days of soot falling onto me...balcony on D731 was a waste of money...and it was a delux balcony as well...costs more.

Incidentally D731 is in the exact middle of the stern (back).

  3. just got off the majestic Cabin D 731 right in the centre of the aft....could not use it for soot.

Hi - I've done alot of searching but unable to find an answer.

I have read about the soot issues on Royal aft facing balconies. Was wondering if anyone that has cruised on the Regal in an aft facing balcony could comment on whether the changes they have made to this ship have helped the soot issues?

    Thank you so much

  4. We have just done 21 days on majestic...for at least 18 days we had soot falling on our delux balcony D731 (same position exactly as on the photo above of the royal)... the 3 days no soot we had strong winds across the ship taking the soot onward over the side.

Do you think princess should compensate us for not being able to use the balcony .
