very disappointed, 14 night cruise and not one towel left in my room shaped like an an animal.... my 15th cruise and the first time this has happened.... also no small bit of dark chocolate left either...... they cruise news was also pretty pathetic.... nothing about the history of the next port... just warnings about getting mugged.... very reassuring
Wow! sorry you didn't get towel animals but we just wanted soap and toilet paper. we asked for it but couldn't get either. we were told on Saturday when we first saw cabin attendant, to wait till tomorrow. when we saw we had no more toilet paper we were told no as well. We then called guest relations and got some, but the cabin attendant was not happy and barely serviced our cabin after that. we did opt out of his tips later.

I heard about the status matching promotion with this cruise line. I applied like they asked, including all documentation. I never heard back from them. I called them today and felt like it was an office, not a reservation line. I was put on hold and transferred four different times. I finally gave up and hung up the phone on the fourth transfer. If they’re looking for business from the American market, this is not the way to do it. Yuck! Get it together, MSC.

Consider yourself lucky. run as far away from MSC as you can. this is the worst run cruiseline in the world. just off Divina, and to say it is the Spirit Air of the cruise world is an insult to spirit. they have no business marketing to Americans. they might get them once, but not a second time. run to any other cruise line. the staff is leaving the ships in droves. they claim they don't see any of the tips. there could be 2 reasons for this. 1) MSC is holding back from them. 2) people opted out of tips because of the poorest service ever.

On Nov 15th in St.Thomas just before scheduled departure time, local police showed up and removed a pax. Just curious what happened.
A young man about 30 or so beat the hell out of his sister on I believe deck 11. there was blood all over the hallway and on the walls. He then threatened 2 younger kids, and the children's mother called security. that' when they decided to get him off the ship and the police were called. This is probably the only thing MSC can't be blamed for.

Hi all,
I have booked in a suite on the Divina on 12/16 however after reading more reviews I am LITERALLY TERRIFIED of the experience we will receive. I almost booked a Celebrity Concierge Suite on Celebrity but changed last minute because of the suite.
I'm not so picky about food but hearing that the ship is a cluster of people and the bad service are really turning me off.
I also called MSC to inquire about upgrading and got the WORST customer service agent in the world. I was FINALLY routed to a manager (the first agent out right refused to let me talk to a manager until I got really angry) and she is trying to help get us into the Yacht Club but other than that, I am honestly thinking about throwing away this money and booking something else.
As the manager said, "I don't want you to feel like you are going on this cruise because you have to" however this is exactly how I feel.
My boyfriend hasn't had a real vacation in years so we are really looking forward to this trip and want a nice experience.
What should I do??????
Appreciate your help.
Signed,
TERRIFIED of MSC
OPT OUT ASAP my review won't be posted for a day or 2, but i titled it, calling it the spiritair of cruising is an insult to spirit. however bad you think the customer service it's way worse than that. food is awful, service around the ship is worse. it is horrible for americans. we're not used to this poor service. it's like in an italian movie of the 1960's where they're screaming at each, but 7 different languages. just get out if you can. did you take insurance, if you get real sick, real soon. please for your sanity opt out.

Sorry, I thought I wrote port of Miami. Need to get off as early as possible? Thanks for any input.
-
can somebody help me out? what is the earliest time off the ship? can you pay extra to get off ship early?
-
Does MSC offer shuttle service to FLL after a cruise? I am absolutely not renting a car!!!! I also heard they do not offer any type of sightseeing excursion of Miami after a cruise is that true?
just a note NAT9511 when you find out how to spend the rest of the horrible 12 hour wait to finally board that spirit flight, could you let me know what and where you did it. I too am from myrtle beach, and find the end to most cruises a real bummer. thanks, Hoppysmom

i vote for princess. icome from new york and princess makes the best. it's made fresh and thin, the way pizza'a suppposed to be. most of the other lines use that boboli garbage, which to me is just thick bread dough, but to alot of people that's real pizza. some people even think pizza hut is real pizza. princess is by the best.
scooter accessible tours
in Ask a Cruise Question
Posted
I will be traveling in Spain in Nov., with my scooter. when i look at tours they will say not wheelchair accessible. however, most are just walking tours. i realize that i will not be doing caves or hikes, but even if i don't go into every sight on tour that is not a problem. i have traveled all over with this scooter, including over cobble stones. can anyone tell me what tours woukd be good for a scooter? i would like to see some of the sights. when i ask some of the companies like viator, they tell me they only know about wheelchairs not scooters. any help from past passengers who have participated in these tours would be appreciated.
