  1. Yes, just happened to us too, after we got off Indy.

We literally checked as we disembarked that we hadn't been charged, and when we got home- our bill had increased by $12 for 'minibar charges'.

We left the 2 bottles of water right in the middle of dressing table, making sure they were very obvious, so this really does leave a bit of a sour taste in our mouths.

  2. hi there, can anyone help with this?

Currently on Indy, & the menu has changed in Champagne Bar, they no longer advertise a Royal Fizz, which was my fave drink. Bartender has said he will make it, no problem, if i know what was in it.

This is the problem-I never thought to find out the last time i was here [emoji53]

is there anyone out there who knows....?

    thank you

  3. Well, you might want to consider that even if they don't have Voom, the price you are getting for internet is much better than it has been recently. In other words, if you were going to buy internet anyhow, then I'd keep your purchase.

That's a good point... ! Yes hubs will probably be happy with something rather than nothing. I will post back if Voom is available or not. Thank you again

  4. We are booked on the Anthem for Thanksgiving. We booked cabin 6160 (obstructed) and the agent said it is the least obstructed cabin they have on board this ship. I thought for the amount we were going to save it was worth trying it. If we don't like it then we'll know for future cruises. Good luck with your decision.

We had 6160 on Anthem, no obstruction directly in front- only to the side. I did post pictures of the view from our balcony, but I'm afraid I don't know how to post a link directly to them. If you use the search function though- I'm sure you can get to them that way, if you wish.

  5. Why do you say that yours is not quite as good a deal? It's much better! Even accounting for the difference between the dollar and the pound, the OP's cruise is 7 nights. Yours is almost twice as long!

    :)

Oh yes!! I didn't factor that in! Thanks for pointing that out Carol [emoji4]

  6. If this keeps people from reserving chairs by the pool and cleaning up after themselves when they are done with a chair I am all for it! Yes a bit of an inconvenience but with a good result.

    Hear hear!

We were on the Anthem a few months ago & there were lots of people who just got up & left their towels on the loungers when they were done. One day we were out on deck & as usual we could find the odd lounger here & there but really we wanted 3 together.

So I asked a couple who we saw gathering their things together if they were leaving, & they said yes. Great, we thought, & we started unrolling our towels, & the man just said to his wife: "leave them" when she picked up her towel! She said "OK" & they just walked away, their discarded towels still on the loungers.

We couldn't believe it! WE then had to pick them up & take them back to the station, Eww!
