Does anyone know of any companies that provide shuttle service from FLL(Ft Lauderdale) to Miami cruise port.
Lyft is always available but looking for other reasonable transfer companies.

Just out of curiosity, what whale watching trips did you go on?
Did NOT go on any, just stood on shore, great shots. Then went downtown and sampled the locals, great walking back up close and personal with many bald eagles.

Great city, spent 3 days prior to my cruise, try and stay downtown, stayed at Blue Horizon... Superb.
If you are active, we did the 5hrs bike tour, the only way to see the city.
aquarium is top notch...
Many hidden gems in eating.

Has anyone done a private tour to Butchart Gardens in Victoria? If so, who did you use?
Our ship is only docked from 7:00-2:00 and the scheduled tour companies only have 1 tour starting at noon as it's the off season in November.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
Just was with a large CC group we used "surfside" great service and very accommodating.
Ride is about 30 minutes from town, 2hrs is good.. so figure.

The first time we went, we were told that we HAD to have a balcony. So we did. That was the biggest mistake we made. It was so cold that we had to sit inside on the bed and look out. We spent a lot of time in the cabin doing so. The second time we had an inside. That was the best!:p We spent cruising time in public areas, meeting and talking to other people while enjoying the scenery. While sitting inside the cabin looking out, you have a very limited view--just straight in front of you. When you are by the pool or other enclosed areas, you get a panoramic view. Also, at glaciers, the ship usually turns around. If you are on your own balcony, you only get to see your side. When in a public area, you can move and also see the other side when the ship turns. If there is a naturalist on board, they are soooo informative, and you won't get that in your cabin....just my opinion.
Great post, the savings is almost $1000 for the cabin, that $1000 can be used for some super excursions of once in a lifetime high adventure.

Inside, save the $$ and spend on great excursions.

Lived in Alaska, 35 cruises and only balcony twice... this is tough.

Questions for suite vets; do passengers staying at a Jr Suite have access to the private breakfast and lunch dining room on one of the top decks...I stayed in a suite(can not recall) if it was Jr, but the private dining room was excellent only BK and lunch
Thanks

OBC applied to first person on the ACCOUNT(room account), however, if during registration pre boarding you indicate the same charges/CC for both people the OBC will count down regardless of which person uses it, it is quite simple so do not worry, u get 200 OBC if the second person in the rooms spends $200 the balance will be zero.

Very nice port, was there two weeks ago for the day, lots to see and do and many have posted incorrect information the city is being revitalized and some of the streets are undergoing major repair I enjoyed my port stop.

I always heard Carnival was a big supporter of the military and veterans, good on them. As a Navy Vet, I would love to go on this cruise but have a previous commitment. Will Carnival have any future cruises that support the military like this Purple Heart Cruise??
I think Carnival(CCL) has the most generous military discount of any of the major cruise lines(the other two), any comments from other vets?
