Add us to the not canceling group. Leaving on the Magic tomorrow. The itinerary changed from Bahamas, Grand Turk, and DR to Cozumel, Belize, and Costa Maya. We're fine with that and just glad to have the opportunity to get away from the grind for a week!

Hi Cruise4me1978 I'm sort of in the same boat as you. I'm sailing on the Magic on 9/24 and didn't buy any insurance. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. Our itinerary is Bahamas, Amber Cove, and Grand Turk. I wouldn't be surprised if they changed the itinerary but we plan to make the best of whatever happens. At the end of the day, it's a week away from our jobs :)

Hi mitsugirly, I've been reading some of your reviews. Thank you for all the time you've spent providing the great information. Can you tell me if there is any shade on Playa Palancar? My wife doesn't like sitting in the sun for too long and she doesn't like laying on a towel in the sand. It appears there are chairs here but if I know there's shade then this may be the perfect place for us.

I just returned from a 7 day cruise and thanks to recommendations from this board, we visited Pillory Beach. The beach was one of the most beautiful ones I've ever seen. The taxi was $8 per person each way from the port. It was about a 5 minute ride to the beach. I highly recommend checking out this beach.

I just returned from our 7 day cruise and we stopped in St Thomas. I convinced my wife for us to skip Magen's Bay and taxi to Sapphire Beach. We're so glad we did. The beach was beautiful. We rented a couple of chairs and found a nice spot in the shade. We stayed for about 2 hours but I wish we would have stayed longer.
