  1. If you think they are too expensive then don't worry, the market will solve it and you will be able to book much cheaper when they try to fill all those empty cabins before the ship sales. If the price never drops it is your valuation that is out of whack.

"Bundled" is a good way of saying it. I never use Wi-Fi on the ship either. I agree on the excursions. Bundling is a good way of getting people to use their excursions. I'm not saying it's wrong on their part, but I like the option of not bundling too.

  2. I get that, but over the past several years they offer more perks it seems. So one could argue elevated prices are kind of pre paying perks.

I have been reading about the all inclusive as well.

  3. It’s nothing to do with free at sea, which has been around for years.

If you notice, the OP quoted prices in pounds. Last year they introduced all inclusive here, which basically includes the UBP (which most of us got anyway), prepaid DSC and a few small extras like water, and NCL took the opportunity to put the prices up.

  4. I think the "free at sea" has something to do with it. Basically building in the alcohol, specialty, shore excursions, etc. No one runs a business constantly giving away free stuff. [emoji52]

  5. Alright, it looks like I'm thinking of somebody else.

THIS is NOT the CD I remember on the Star in Nov 2011. Pfft, with my memory her name probably wasn't even Julie. I just remember her being Canadian.

Blonde hair. Not slim, not a hard-body, but not chubby either. Just kind of normal, I guess you could say. Her sidekick was Beantown Brian.

Anybody know who I'm talking about?

That was Jamie. She was ok, not our favorite. We had her in November 2011 on the Star also. I see you're sailing the Epic on Nov 24th. Have fun, we were so close to taking that one, but we're doing the Pearl again :)
