  1. We were just on the Epic in January in a mini-suite. Our friends were in a balcony. To my mind's eye in comparing the two rooms, our room had a very small amount of extra room between the bed and the balcony, but not enough to make a difference. Also, our room had a tub, which was nice for the extra space, but be aware that the tubs seemed to be at least about 20+ inches tall, which is quite a step in, although there was a grab bar. And about the bathrobes, our cabin steward told us they do not put the robes in ANY rooms on any of the mega-ships anymore, and they are only provided upon passenger request once on the ship.:)

  2. I looked into reserving the cabanette for an upcoming Coco Cay stop, and unless I am looking in the wrong place to reserve these (under shore tours under my reservation), the price is now $49.99 PER PERSON. This is a big price increase. Maybe you only need to put in one person's name, rather than check each person for the reservation. Can anyone clarify the reservation process for the Coco Cay Cabanettes?

  3. Nobody has mentioned so far what RCCL might attempt to do since you are currently booked into a cabin designed for 3 passengers. My friends and I were booked in a Junior Suite for 3, and right before final payment one of the ladies had to drop out. I called RCCL and they not only wanted to move us into a cabin designed for 2, but also wanted to rebook us at the much higher current rate (we booked almost a year in advance). I was quite upset about this, and finally I spoke to someone in resolutions and they agreed to let 2 people stay in that cabin and keep our current rate, just dropping the 3rd person. So, maybe the advice you have received here to just let the 2 passengers be no-shows is the most cost effective way to handle this.

  4. I just got off the Breakaway on Nov. 17 and was in a Haven Suite. For the Cirque Show, Haven guests meet the concierge in the Haven Lounge 45 minutes prior to their reserved show and are escorted to the showroom and enter before all other guests and are able to sit in any seat, so you get the best seats! For all of the other shows in the main theater for which you have reservations, you just go directly to the theater at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the show (enter the theater on the left side) and there will be a staff member standing at the roped off Haven seating area and you show them your Haven card and they drop the ropes for you. At 15 minutes prior to the start of the show, the ropes are removed and anyone can sit in those seats. Hope this helps!
