Ovation from Hawaii to Vancouver is open on the RC website BUT there are no suites at all. I'm not happy at all. Not only that, prices are much higher than what I was getting for a junior suite for 3 people. When I did a mock booking for an oceanview cabin, it was almost 7k and it's only for 11 nights! I had it for 9k for 23 nights. Guess I'm off to switch to another ship! Ugh!

This is from a facebook post that I'm unable to mention..
Ovation Of The Seas Trans-Pacific Cruise to her new homeport in Alaska!!
Just a slight correction. Her new homeport is Seattle, not Alaska.
I was on the phone for another reservation and I asked if the itinerary for both legs was out, and was told yes. The 2nd leg will stop at San Francisco before going on to Vancouver.

I’m on the March 2, 2019 sailing. It still shows in my cruises list. There were others after it when I booked it. I chose that one because it’s pre-Fat Tuesday weekend in NOLA.
I'm so glad this sailing wasn't canceled either as Doug and I are also booked on the March 2nd sailing as we wanted to experience Mardi Gras. I thought at first it was canceled. I've already had 2 cruises canceled in the last 2 weeks.

Does anyone know if Oasis Transatlantic for Oct 2019 will be released in the next few weeks? I'm trying to come up with a plan B due to our Explorer TP being canceled. Sighs

Simple balcony but in prime location Aft. Now someone else can’t book it.

I never book AFT. I'm always in the middle of the ship.

Maybe Royal needs to consider higher penalties for changing or canceling backup and place holder cruises. Refundable or Non Refundable.

There's already a difference in cost with the RF or NRF. I just priced a cruise and there was 300 dollars difference. I personally do placeholder on a simple balcony room because it gives me more time to make payments for a specific year that I want to cruise. Not all of us can afford to just cruise every year.

The credit has terms and conditions. You can change ship and sail date, as long as the terms are satisfied.
Our TP from Syndey to Seattle was canceled for April 2019. They are offering FCC if rebook TP on Ovation. I'm pretty sure because it's so soon, prices will be high so was wondering if I rebook TP for Ovation using refundable fare, if I'd be able to move the rebook to 2020 without losing the FCC as I'm still going on TP, just not in 2019 (it all depends on price). Would this work? This is our first time with FCC on a canceled cruise.

If this is released on May 16th in Australia then would that mean the 15th in NA given they are a day ahead?
I think it'll release on the 15th also for Crown and Anchor members like they did for the Symphony release?

Has the transpacific from Australia already been released?!
Doesn't seem like Ovation will go to Alaska since there is a transpacific already listed for Explorer in 2019 (of course that means absolutely nothing lol)Sent from my iPhone using Forums

me 5!
I've been calling RC every week and asking if they know when it'll be released but no one knows!
-
Is it still tentatively slated that the TP from Australia will be released on April 27th?
-
How do you know this as I called RC today and no one knew when Australia would be released?
-
They're out!!!
Just booked a TP for 2019!
....ok, I'm kidding. This wait is driving me nuts.

I was actually reaching for the phone to call RC until I finished reading your post. ;p
I'm right there with you on this wait. I called RC this morning and they said within the week. Sighs.. I'm just anxious to book the TP the day it comes out!
-
According to the schedule, those sailings will open sometime next week, Probably Wednesday or Thursday
Thank you!!

Australia cruises being released on Monday still, right? That's what I've been waiting for other than Symphony!

Into spring 2019.
That is showing on CruiseCal. It is not showing on RCI yet, but should be open in the next couple of days, I would think.
Booking on Liberty would not only give us a little "extra cruise", but it would also give us enough points to make us D+ for our planned big "retirement cruise" in 2019.:)
I hope to work my way up to Diamond before our Transpacific in 2020! I need a Liberty, 2 TA's and then we'll be Diamond for our TP. :D
-
I am watching for the Liberty to open up out of Galveston. Since the itineraries are already upon CruiseCal I already have dates picked out if the prices are good. Hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday.
How far out are the dates for Liberty as I need to transfer a current reservation for Liberty to later?

If you booked...There was an error in port fees and taxes, if you booked first day. They are 63.48 each for Symphony TA. Mine were showing 130 each. My new total is under 2300 for the 8D. You have to call ROYAL and get it changed. Saved me $133.04 for the two of us.
I'm on the phone with RC and am struggling to get our port/taxes fees adjusted. I hope I can get it fixed - this is my 2nd rep I've called trying to get it changed.
-
Is this the official roll call thread? I transferred a placeholder and booked the SY TA! So excited to go on my 2nd one - Harmony was a blast! :D
-
I've been watching and waiting for Symphony TA roll call! However, I do have Symphony in mycruises. Who's the admin for opening up the roll calls for new ship? Maybe we need to contact him/her/them? :D
-
Has anyone started roll call for the symphony TA yet? IF so, link please!

Balcony 1099x2 for the TA.

I was told 2800 for 2 for a balcony for the TA - :( I got Central Park though :D
-
I'm on hold with the regular RC phone line - am I supposed to call Crown and Anchor because I think they're closed now! I sure hope I don't miss out on an awesome location. :(
-
Exactly. Whatever floats your boat. :D After being on all the other classes of RCI ships, we were surprised that we didn't like Quantum Class. We've decided we like those ships with a Royal Promenade the best.
Quantum doesn't have a Royal Promenade? Ugh.. We love that as it doesn't make us feel claustrophobic at all. :(
ASL Interpreters on Cruises? (I.e. Disappointed with Holland America)

I cruise often with RC and they have provided me terps with no issues. When your cruise is 90 days out (cruise has passed the final payment date) that's when you need to reach out to the cruise line and talk to their access department and request your interpreter. RC takes care of contacting an agency and getting two terps, takes care of the cabin, food, and transportation to and from the cruise.
Which cruiseline/department were you talking about?
