  1. question????

does everyone have to pay.... why i ask .... if we had people with lets say had special name tags for those who paid for the cocktail party and the others who come to this event and their name tags would be very different from those who paid. Would this couse a problem,,,,

We are setting this up for our cruise but we are doing it for an hour and half for 16.88 a person.

  2. Hi Mike

Once again another great job, Our first cruise was on the Liberty and she is a beautiful ship. May i ask a favour would you please post the mailing address for Tracey again.... sorry I know you posted on one of these pages ;) i would love to send her a card and a Thank You. I know you are doing a stellar job taking care of the homefront. Take care

  3. whoooooo you are at it again, I was completly enthralled with your last review and have been waiting for this one.

I want to wish Tracey a safe journey in her new career, six months is a long time but hopefully for all it will go quickly.

Have a wonderful farewell party, and enjoy the time you have as a family.

I can wait for more of the review until after Tracey has left, go spend your time with her and the family.

  4. I decorate our door - I put our journey on it, where we are from and our journey to Miami. I put a small history of where we live, let everyone know we were Canadians :). I also left a post its on the door for messages. First note was from our room steward. I was surprised by the number of notes that were left, more surprised by the number of people who left questions on the door wanting an answer about the area i live in. I would answer them and they would come get them and leave thank you notes. i will do it every cruise, sure makes it easier to find our room.

  5. HI Mike

wow how time gone fast, When you first sailed you were not quite sure exactly when tracey was going to be leaving for her training and now she is working her last shift on Monday.... and i take it then she will be off for training.. Please wish her luck for me.

To let you know I have since booked the Legend for October 2011 and Freedom for Jan 2012. I am going with a friend from Australia on the freedom and will be using a lot of your information on the freedom. Once again thank you for your great reviews,

  6. Mike, Tracey , family, grampy and nannie

Tracey, I wish you all the sucess that can come your way, you are in for a very long 6 months but the reward at the end is what you have worked so hard for, for so long.

    Enjoy the cruise is Jan.

thanks again, for all the smiles ( I thought I was the only one who licked plates, you must of started a new trend)

    Helen

  7. hi Mike

been home now two weeks after sailing on th Liberty... what a ship

i plotted and planned that trip and surprised my hubby with the chef's dinner.. all i wanted to do after every plate was to pick each of them up and lick every plate so i would not miss a thing.

So being home for two weeks i miss sailing, so i have booked our next sailing on the Legend for CDN thanksgiving and once again I will be booking the chefs dinner. This time my husband does not know about this cruise am giving this cruise as a present. (sort of) when we go away at christmas.

  8. "I know what you mean, having been to Disney several times. Sometimes they try to do too much instead of taking their time to enjoy each moment."

Our son has ADDH with a side order of Tourettes and few other that i just now call the Alphabet syndrome.. very long story but took him to Disney one year for Xmas and finally there was one place in the world where people were at his level for the whole day, for his parents (us) and our son it was the best day of his life.

Mike once again thank you, I almost feel that you and family are a part of my life. I would go on any cruise you are on just because of your families attitude, which was was wonderful, there were no complaints and it was all fun.. thank you

It would be so refreshing not to have to listen to minor things that people find to complain about.Ugh I go to have fun and relax and not listen to moaning and groaning and there were none on your review

PS every time i go back and look at love game with gramp and gram I just love the photo of gramp laughing and gram bent over laughing. It makes me laugh every time I just may save it as a screen saver;. It sure puts a smile on my face. So what were the other questions that they asked them"

  9. Hi again Mike, Tracey and family

your descritpion of the chelf table was wonderful, I thought about it and thought about it and I booked it for our cruise. Sneaky me, my husband does not know about it and will not know about it until it is time to go. So once again I say thank you, if were not for you I would not of booked it. Carnival needs to start paying you a commision for the extra business you are drumming up for them.

once again thank you for your lovely story :)

  10. ''We disembarked with Peter and Rosemary. The kids stayed in bed. In every port we gave them one wake up call, if they were not out of bed within 15 minutes, it was adios. Sometimes they would get mad at us when we got back, we would smile and just ignore their complaints.''

LOL I have a 21 yr old and it is the same thing here, trying to get him out of bed for something important or something we would like him to do with us is crazy. So i go the time change thing, if we need him up at 9 we tell him 8 and low and behold he crawls out of bed by 8 45. It works

We will see how this vacation to Cuba works this year at christmas, how early he crawls out of bed, no lets see how early he goes to bed. i foresee 3: 30 in morning.

yes and we just smile, do what we need and laugh. See its the same all over.

Pictures from KW look great and once again thank you for all your hard work on this review. PS are you on count down now till next cruise. 29 days for me. :)

  12. Mike, who did you book the snorkeling with? Was it through the ship? I have a couple of people in our group that are scared of deep water (they are very weak swimmers), so how deep was the water?

Thanks for serving our country, the RCMP are highly respected by everyone we know and is one of the coolest national symbols in the world.

Good luck to Tracy getting in to the RCMP, and both of you stay safe!!!

yes the Mounties are the coolest national icon :D for us Canadian, i love the holigram I have in my passport. I had my first tatoo over 30 years ago when it was not cool for women to have one..... The only other tatoo i want now is that holigram from my passport. It says I am Canadian :)

Very happy that you and the family will be taking another cruise before Tracy goes off to do training. here is wishing her all the success in the new venture she is going to do.

can we get on to the vows please ;) h

  13. I did not want you to think I was being pushy as I too wanted to tell you your lovely kids are big enough to grab something to eat by themselves just for tonight, I wanted the proposal also... I read this at work today and was waiting and waiting for you to get to this part now i want to read about the vows. You are man who stole all our hearts. your wife and children are very lucky. I know your job is not easy, you are a very talented writer, great father and a loving husband. What did you kids have to say after this?

thank you, you did bring tears in my eyes also
