We were on a  35 days on a Hawaii/Tahiti cruise in an Oceanview stateroom under the promenade deck. Every day, at 6 am someone was heavily walking on the promenade.  He was told to be mindful of people underneath, but he wasn’t.  Since then, I have never booked an ocean view cabin underneath the Promenade deck. I’ll take an inside before that.

We had a lobster roll in the MDR in July and all we could taste was onions.    We had a better one in Portland and Halifax and they were much better.

Thank you Snowball Mo.  Just had our 2 Jan cruise on Equinox repriced.  Saved $800 Cdn.

We were on a cruise three weeks ago and Equinox was right next to us.  We noticed that the lower three levels of verandahs had no foot rest.  Only the higher upper levels had a foot rest.  Maybe Celebrity is trying to save some $$$….

A thin and dressy sweater will be sufficient.

Can you walk from the Tampa parking lot to either cruise ship terminal?  Or can you drop your luggage

Maybe our gouvernement was not wrong in suggesting that those of us who had the Astra Zeneca as first dose, get the Moderna or Pfizer.

So maybe our government’s was not necessarily wrong in advising us as Canadians to mixe Astra Zeneca with either Pfizer or Moderna.

You can also use US dollars.  Last time we were there, some souvenirs were more expensive in CFP francs than US dollars.

If it helps, the 2019 51-day Tales of the South Pacific was released some time late Jan-Feb 2018.  I only found out about the 2019 by looking up cruises departing from San Diego and I booked it on 18 Feb 18.  That cruise was on my bucket list.

I also find the coffee in the Lido awful.  On the Niew Statendam, you don't have to go to the Explorer  Cafe, you can get it in the Lido.

Great photos. Thank you. I've always wondered about lunch in the Pinnacle. We will certainly give it a try next year since we have a 51-day cruise in the South Pacific with a few sea days.

We had one of the inside cabins on the Navigation Deck for a 12-day cruise in the Baltics and noise was not an issue. I am a light sleeper and I did not hear any noise. Those four inside cabins are very roomy. There a J-sofa. Enjoy your cruise.

It is unfortunate that Holland no longer post a pdf version of their excursions. I prefer to have all the information at once as opposed to click on each excursion. We'll have to wait until we board the ship to book excursions.
