Ate there this past Saturday night. It says the dress code is Cruise Elegant (like formal night). I had kakis and a polo shirt and was fine. I have seen people with jeans with no problem.

I will be on the Dream in June, what were the lines/crowds like at peak times for breakfast and lunch on sea days? In other words...was there plenty of seating?
On sea days we did a late Seaday Brunch....(around 11:00 or so). There was never a line there. On port days we ate on land. There seemed to always be a line at the Mongolian Wok but don't remember a real line at the other places.

Forgot to mention the shows!
We went to see both the 8 More Seconds show and the Dancing in the Streets show. Enjoyed the 8 More Seconds show but really loved the Dancing in the Streets show! Great music and the Fun Force Guys were AWESOME!

Just off of the 4/20/14 sailing of the Dream. Didn't take a whole lot of pictures so will just do a mini review.
Embarkation
We had FTTF and had no issues. Arrived at the port around 10:45am and was on the ship around 11:45am.
Ship
This was our third Carnival Cruise ship and I would say that overall this was the best ship we have been on. We had a cove balcony and loved it! The only issues that I would say that we had were the temp in our room. A little warmer than we liked. Also the main pool area seems really small. This area on smaller ships seems bigger. And that is it. Every crew member we came in contact with was great!
Food
Lido buffet was good (actually edible). We really liked the different stations they have my favorites were the Pasta Bar and the Tandoor Grill! We ate in the MDR every night except the last night (we went to the steakhouse). The food in the MDR was very good in my opinion. We had Anytime Dining and never waited for more that 5 minutes to get a table (we were getting either a table for 7 or 6 each night). The steakhouse was excellent! This was our first steakhouse experience as the other ships that we have been on did not have a steakhouse. Even our room service was good and delivered very fast.
Ports
Cozumel
We went to Nachi Cocom. This was our second time going there and it was just as good as the first if not better. Drinks were flowing and the food was great! Try the grilled Grouper! It was fantastic!
Grand Cayman
We did the Turtles, Turtles, and More Turtles excursion through Carnival. We had a great time. Got to learn about, hold and snorkel with the turtles!
Montego Bay, Jamaica
We booked the Seawinds Family All-Inclusive Beach Day through Carnival. Really enjoyed this resort. Beautiful beach, nice pool, good drinks, great food, and a really great staff. Also it is very close to where the ship docks so you spend your time at the resort not getting to and from the resort!
Debarkation
This was not as smooth as embarkation. There were A LOT of people that were doing self assist! They called for self assist at 7am and didn't start to call zone numbers until almost 8:30am! Not a big deal for us as home is only a 1 hour drive away, but I would have slept a little later if I had known!
Overall this was our best cruise yet and would do this exact cruise again in a heartbeat!

Just off the Dream today as well. Embark was no problems at all. On the ship around 11:45am. Debark was a little worse. A LOT of PEOPLE were choosing self assist. They called for them at around 7am and it wasn't until almost 8:30am before they started the zone debark. I thought the food in general was the best I have had on a Carnival cruise. Lido buffet was actually edible, Tandoor & Pasta Bar were really good, MDR was excellent as well as the steakhouse. All the crew members that I came in contact with were great!

Anyone know why the Dream is still at the dock in NOLA? Should've left almost 2 hours ago.
It needs to hurry and leave so Sunday can get here quicker!! :D

Formal nights should be second night and sixth night.

barrbr, I'll be in a Cove mid ship on May 4, in cabin #2294. Which cabin are you in? Please don't alert security that I'm coming! LOL
We are in 2419.

Sailing on the Dream in 18 days and have a couple of questions.
On embarkation day is the Tandoori station open for lunch?
We are in a cove balcony room on deck 2 midship. Does anyone know where the muster station is? (my MIL is worried she will have to stand outside for the drill)
TIA

Does anyone know what time Nachi Cocom opens? Our ship is scheduled to arrive at 7am.
TIA

Have you tried calling Carnival to discuss this situation? If not, I would do so immediately. Why can't you book the excursion you want in Montego Bay? I'm a little confused. Hope this all works out for you and that you have a great cruise.:D
I have emailed them a few days ago. They replied saying they were working through the changes. I can't book in Montego Bay because it show that I already have an excursion on that day (this is the one for Grand Cayman which was booked on the old day for Grand Cayman but is now the new day for Montego Bay).

Got notified by Carnival about a month ago that the itinerary for your upcoming April 20th sailing had changed. Just about a week before this I had booked an excursion through Carnival in Grand Cayman. In the email I received from Carnival they said that if we had excursions booked they would change them for us. It has now been almost a month and my excursion still shows on the old date in Grand Cayman. Does anyone have any experience with this and how long it normally takes Carnival to make the change? The reason I ask is that this excursion still shows as booked on April 24th which we will now be in Montego Bay not Grand Cayman. Because of this I am not able to book the excursion we want in Montego Bay!
TIA for you help!
If you have stayed in a cove balcony on the Dream...

We were in 2419 last week. Loved it! Only complaint was we found it a little warm. Never got cold enough in the room for us. But other than that it was great! Even though we were under the galley we never heard any noise. Another family member a few doors down toward the aft had a lot of noise at all hours of the day!
